The Sustainable City Airport Transfers

We provide private transfers between The Sustainable City and Al Maktoum International (DWC) or Dubai International (DXB), in both directions. Send the flight, the date and time in UAE time, and your cluster and villa number. The team replies with a quote on WhatsApp or by phone, with a sedan, SUV, executive car, van or coach chosen to suit your group.

The Sustainable City is a Dubai Land community owned by SEE Holding and developed by Diamond Developers, built around car-free residential clusters, a central green spine, a school, clinics, a mosque and holiday homes. Bayut counts about 500 villas in five clusters. Because the clusters are car-free, the place where the car stops may be a car park or the entrance rather than your door, so agree the meeting point and your villa number before the day.

The Sustainable City to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

From DXB (Terminals 1, 2 and 3; Emirates uses Terminal 3) or DWC, send the terminal, flight number, landing date and time in UAE time, and your cluster and villa number. The driver meets you in the arrivals area holding a name board, the team follows the flight's status so a late landing moves the pickup, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. Bayut lists Al Qudra Road as the main access route, and the driver picks the way in on the day. Tell us how many bags you have, because the walk from the car park to your villa may be longer than at an ordinary street address.

Dubai International (DXB) guide

Leaving for your flight

To leave The Sustainable City for a flight, give the pickup time you want in UAE time, the airport and terminal, and the agreed meeting point: a cluster car park, the Main Entrance or the Plaza. Airlines publish their own check-in advice, so we plan around the time you choose. Have your bags ready at the meeting point at that time and keep your phone on. If you are in a holiday home, send the operator's contact details, and ask for the return trip in the same request. List the number of passengers and large bags too, since everything has to be carried to the meeting point.

DWC

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, on the south-western side of Dubai, and The Sustainable City is in the Dubai Land area, so travellers here may well have DWC on their ticket. Fewer airlines use DWC than DXB and the list changes by season, so check the airport code before you send the request. Write DWC or DXB against each leg. If you land at one airport and leave from the other, we quote the two legs separately, with the same flight tracking and name board.

Local know-how

Pickup and drop-off tips for The Sustainable City

Cluster, villa number and a pin

Bayut describes five residential clusters, each beside an urban farm, with a solar car park for every cluster. Give your cluster, your villa number and a pin from your phone's map. If your host or landlord uses a name for the cluster, copy it exactly, and add a phone number that will be answered when the driver arrives.

Meeting at the Main Entrance or the Plaza

Bayut names a Main Entrance bus stop at the community's entrance and exit, and describes The Sustainable City Plaza as the community hub, with clinics and spas. Either can be agreed as the meeting point if you would rather not carry bags through the clusters. Name which one, send a pin, and message the team if the plan changes.

Staying in a holiday home

The official site lists holiday homes among the community's facilities. Ask the operator for the exact villa number, the car park nearest to it and whether a visitor must be registered at the entrance. Send those details with your request, together with the host's phone number, so the driver can reach someone if the pickup point is unclear.

School, clinic and institute visits

The official site lists a school, a nursery, clinics, the SEE Institute and Sanad Village inside the community. For an appointment, class or event, tell us the facility, the entrance you were given and the time in UAE time. If the organiser has issued a pass or a visitor list, send those details with your request, and do not guess which entrance to use.

Good to know

A community designed around walking

The official site lists car-free residential clusters, shared electric buggies, EV charging and a central green spine, and Bayut adds free electric buses inside the community. That design is why a pickup here needs a plan. Ask your host or the operator where cars are allowed to stop, tell us which car park or entrance that is, and give the villa number as well. If a passenger needs help with bags or has limited mobility, say so in the request so the team can discuss the meeting point and vehicle when it quotes.

Vehicles

Which vehicle suits a The Sustainable City transfer?

Villa households make up most trips, so an SUV (Toyota Prado or GMC Yukon class, up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags) is the usual choice when bags must be carried to a car park. A sedan (Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima class, up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags) fits one or two travellers, and a luxury executive car (Mercedes-Benz S-Class class, up to 3 passengers) suits business visitors. Groups at the SEE Institute or in several holiday homes fit a van (Toyota Hiace class, 6 to 14 seats), and a mini bus or coach covers 15 or more. Models are 'or similar', and the final vehicle is confirmed with the quote.

Questions

The Sustainable City transfer questions

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp and include your flight or pickup time.

Can the car drive to my villa door?

The developer describes the residential clusters as car-free, so the pickup point may be a car park at the edge of your cluster. Ask your host which car park is nearest, and send a pin taken there.

There are Sustainable Cities in other places. How do I make sure the car goes to the Dubai one?

The official site lists separate cities in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Oman. Write The Sustainable City, Dubai, plus your cluster and villa number, and send a map pin.

Can you collect me from The Sustainable City Plaza?

Yes, when it is agreed in advance. Bayut describes the Plaza as the community hub. Name the side you will wait on, share a pin and give the pickup time in UAE time.

Does a visitor need to be registered at the entrance?

We have not found visitor rules published by the community or in the area guides, so we do not state any. Ask your host or the community team, and send any name, code or pass with your request.
