Ras Al Khaimah International Airport (RKT) Transfers

It is the smaller kind of airport, with a departure terminal and an arrival terminal named on its own facilities page, plus duty free, a business lounge and prayer rooms. The airport's website also links to live flight times, which are worth checking on the day.

Our driver meets arriving guests in the arrivals area with a name board. We follow your flight's status, so a late or early landing moves the pickup, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. The airport's website lists metered taxis from the Arrivals hall around the clock and a free shuttle bus linking RKT with stops in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain, with schedules aligned to flight times. Check its current details before you rely on them. A private transfer is for when you want a car for your own group, with luggage, straight to your door.

Both directions are intercity transfers between two emirates. If you land at RKT and stay in Dubai, send the flight number and the Dubai hotel, tower or villa. If you land at DXB and stay in Ras Al Khaimah, ask for a DXB pickup plus the road leg north, and add the DXB terminal and the resort name.

Check your airline's own check-in advice first. Then tell us the flight time, the pickup time you want and the pickup point, in UAE time. Resorts and large hotels often have several entrances, so name the entrance or lobby, and say if anyone is still checking out.

From a Dubai address you are starting an intercity trip, so leave a generous margin and avoid working to the last minute. Add the number of passengers and large bags, and mention golf bags or sports gear.

Because the airport states 24/7 operations, a night or early-hours flight is possible, and so is our service. Enter the date the aircraft lands, in UAE time. A flight due at 02:10 on the 21st is a 21st arrival, even if you left home on the 20th.

For an early departure, give the date and time of the pickup itself and spell it out in your message. Tell your resort about a very late check-in or an early check-out, and keep your phone reachable so the driver can contact you.

Couples and business travellers usually fit a sedan (Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima class, up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags) or the luxury executive car (Mercedes-Benz S-Class class, up to 3 passengers). Families with beach gear suit an SUV (Toyota Prado or GMC Yukon class, up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags).
