DAMAC Hills to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

From DXB (Terminals 1, 2 and 3; Emirates uses Terminal 3) or DWC, send the terminal, flight number, landing date and time in UAE time, and your cluster, street and house or building number. The driver meets you in the arrivals area holding a name board, the team follows the flight's status so a late landing moves the pickup, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. The National places the golf club off Al Qudra Road, and Bayut lists Al Qudra Road and Hessa Street around Golf Town, so the driver picks the route on the day. Add a phone number that will be answered on arrival and, for a gated cluster, any visitor details your host has arranged.

Leaving for your flight

To leave DAMAC Hills for a flight, give the pickup time you want in UAE time, the airport and terminal, and the exact point: cluster, street and house number, block and unit, or the clubhouse or hotel door. Airlines publish their own check-in advice, so we plan around the time you choose. Keep bags at the door and your phone on. If you have been playing golf, list the golf bags so the quote includes room for them. Ask for the return trip in the same request so both legs carry the same details.

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, on the south-western side of Dubai, and DAMAC Hills lies in the southern part of the city off Al Qudra Road, so some residents and visitors fly from DWC. Fewer airlines use DWC than DXB and the list changes by season, so check the code on your ticket. Write DWC or DXB against each leg of the request. If you land at one airport and leave from the other, the two legs are quoted separately, with the same flight tracking, name board and 30 minutes of free waiting time.

Pickup and drop-off tips for DAMAC Hills

Cluster name first, not 'Akoya'

Bayut's area guide lists more than a dozen named clusters in DAMAC Hills, including Golf Town, Silver Springs, Trump Estates, Rochester, Richmond, Brookfield, Queens Meadows and Rockwood. Older paperwork and listings often say Akoya instead. Write the cluster first, then the street and house number or the block and unit, and add a pin from your phone's map. If your host sent an address, copy it unchanged.

Golf Town apartments

Bayut describes Golf Town as low-rise apartments with a few townhouses. Give the block name, floor and unit, the entrance easiest for luggage, and a phone number that will be answered when the driver arrives. If the block is hard to find, agree a fixed landmark beforehand, such as DAMAC Mall, which Bayut places inside the community.

Gated clusters and key cards

Bayut describes Trump Estates as gated with key card security access, and lists Silver Springs as gated too. How visitors are admitted is set by each cluster, and we cannot see those rules. Ask your host whether a visitor name, code or card is needed, send it with your request, and keep your phone on while the driver is at the entrance.

Golf club pickups

Trump International Golf Club Dubai gives its address as DAMAC Hills, Al Hebiah Third District. For a pickup there, say whether you will be at the clubhouse, the academy or the par 3 course, and give the time you want to leave in UAE time. List your golf bags, because clubs need room. Ask the club about visitor entry and pass on any car park instruction it gives you.

Golf days at Trump International Golf Club Dubai

The club's website lists an 18-hole championship course, a floodlit par 3 course designed by Gil Hanse, night golf on holes 10 to 18 under LED lights, a golf academy and a TrackMan range. A golf trip often ends with a flight, so a pickup may need to fit around a round or a lesson. Send the finish time in UAE time, your flight time if you travel the same day, and the number of golf bags. We plan around the pickup time you set, so give a clock time rather than 'after the round'.

Which vehicle suits a DAMAC Hills transfer?

Villas and townhouses here suit families, so an SUV (Toyota Prado or GMC Yukon class, up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags) is the usual choice for suitcases and golf bags. A sedan (Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima class, up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags) fits one or two travellers staying in a Golf Town apartment. A luxury executive car (Mercedes-Benz S-Class class, up to 3 passengers) suits business visitors. A group sharing villas fits a van (Toyota Hiace class, 6 to 14 seats), and a mini bus or coach covers 15 or more. Models are 'or similar', and the final vehicle is confirmed with the quote.

Is DAMAC Hills the same as Akoya and DAMAC Hills 2?

DAMAC Hills began as The Akoya and was later renamed, so older paperwork may say Akoya. DAMAC Hills 2, also called Akoya Oxygen, is a separate community with its own page. If you are unsure which one your home is in, send the cluster name and a pin.
