Arriving at DXB

Landing at DXB for an Al Sufouh address, include the terminal (Terminals 1, 2 or 3; Emirates uses Terminal 3), your flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time, the passenger and bag count, and the villa, school or resort with its gate or reception. The driver waits in arrivals with a name board and the team follows the flight's status, so the pickup tracks the actual landing. 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. Leaving for your flight

For a ride from Al Sufouh to the airport, give the exact pickup spot, whether that is a villa gate, a campus reception or a resort entrance, and the time you want to leave in UAE time. Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) sits in Dubai South, towards Jebel Ali. Some airlines fly from DWC rather than DXB, so a visitor to an Al Sufouh school, campus or office may arrive there. The airport code is printed on your ticket, so confirm it before you send your details. If you see DWC, ask for a DWC quote and give the same pickup information you would for DXB. A visit that starts at one airport and ends at the other can be quoted as two trips in one message.

Tell us which end of Al Sufouh you are in

Al Sufouh 1 begins at the junction of Umm Suqeim Street and Al Sufouh Road, close to Madinat Jumeirah. Al Sufouh 2 is the part near Palm Jumeirah, where several schools and campuses sit. Add that to your message together with the name of the villa community, building or resort. If you are unsure which half you are in, a WhatsApp location pin settles it straight away.

Villas: community, villa number and the gate

Residential Al Sufouh mixes villas and apartment buildings. For a villa, give the community or street name, the villa number and the nearest landmark, for example a school or a tram station. If the entrance is gated or staffed, ask your host which name to give security and send that name to us, so the driver is not stopped at the barrier.

Campuses and schools: name the building

Dubai College, GEMS Wellington International School, the International School of Choueifat and the American University in Dubai all sit in the district. A campus can have several buildings, so tell us the building, department or reception where the guest will be. Visitors with luggage should meet at reception, not at a roadside, and staff should pass on the vehicle details.

Resorts: the hotel inside the resort

One&Only Royal Mirage on Al Sufouh Road and Madinat Jumeirah are both big sites with more than one hotel or building on the same property. Name the exact hotel or reception, such as Mina A'Salam at Madinat Jumeirah, rather than only the resort brand. Ask reception to bring bags to the entrance at the time you set.

One road, two names

In September 2016 Al Sufouh Road was renamed King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street, according to Gulf News. RTA's tram information still says the Dubai Tram runs along Al Sufouh Road, so both names are in use. If your host or reservation uses one name and your phone shows the other, they refer to the same road. Send us whichever name you have, plus a landmark such as a school or tram station, and the driver will match them.
