Barsha and Emirates Living

The Lakes Airport Transfers

We arrange private airport transfers between The Lakes and Dubai International (DXB) or Al Maktoum International (DWC). Send your flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time and your villa address, and the team replies with a quote on WhatsApp or by phone. The service runs 24/7 and follows your flight, so an arrival pickup moves with the actual landing time.

The Lakes is one of Emaar's Emirates Living communities, and Emaar describes Emirates Living as gated, with round-the-clock security. A property guide lists six neighbourhoods inside The Lakes: Hattan, Deema, Maeen, Zulal, Forat and Ghadeer. A pickup request works best with the neighbourhood name, the street and the villa number, instead of The Lakes alone. Emaar's page also names Montgomerie Golf Club and Address Montgomerie, which work as second landmarks when you describe where you are.

The Lakes to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

Landing at DXB and heading for The Lakes? Send the terminal (DXB has Terminals 1, 2 and 3, and Emirates uses Terminal 3), the flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time, and the villa as neighbourhood, street and villa number. The driver meets you in the arrivals area holding a name board, we follow your flight status, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. Emaar places Emirates Living between Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) and Al Khail Road (E44), and the driver picks the approach on the day.

Dubai International (DXB) guide

Leaving for your flight

To leave The Lakes for a flight, send the flight time and terminal, the pickup time you want in UAE time and your villa address with the neighbourhood name. Have bags ready at the door and tell us who the driver should call if the street is unclear. Airlines publish their own check-in advice, and we plan the pickup around the time you ask for. List the passengers and large bags, and the quote can name the right vehicle. If you are returning later, ask for both journeys in one message so your details are on file.

DWC

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, in the Jebel Ali part of the emirate. Guests based in The Lakes mostly use DXB, but your ticket decides, because some airlines fly from DWC. When yours does, put DWC in the request with the flight number and times, and the team quotes the journey on its own terms. Collection at DWC follows the usual routine: flight tracking, a name board in arrivals and 30 minutes of free waiting time.

Local know-how

Pickup and drop-off tips for The Lakes

Neighbourhood name, street, villa number

A property guide to The Lakes names six neighbourhoods: Hattan, Deema, Maeen, Zulal, Forat and Ghadeer. Your tenancy papers or host's message should show which one you are in. Send it with the street and villa number exactly as written. If only the villa number is on your booking, ask your host for the neighbourhood before you request the quote.

The Lakes Club as a meeting point

Emaar describes The Lakes Club as having a gym, tennis courts, swimming pools, two licensed dining options and a Choithrams supermarket on site. That makes it an easy fixed landmark for a guest who is hard to find in the villa streets. Agree it when you ask for the quote, name the entrance you will stand at, and send a WhatsApp pin once you are outside.

Villas on lakes and golf frontages

The area guide describes homes surrounded by lakes and gardens, built among golf courses. A view of the water does not tell a driver which street you are on, so share a pin dropped at your own gate. Add your Makani number if you have it (a 10-digit entrance code, usually on a plate at a villa's door) and mention a visible feature such as a corner plot.

Gate and visitor details

Emaar describes Emirates Living as gated. If your neighbourhood asks visitors to give a name or register a car, your host or the community management arranges it, not us. Ask early, send us any name, code or contact number they give you, and keep your phone on so the driver can reach you from the gate.

Good to know

Hattan, and not Emirates Hills

Emaar lists Hattan as its own name in Emirates Living, next to The Lakes, while the property guide counts it among The Lakes neighbourhoods. If your paperwork says Hattan, put it in the request first. Emirates Hills is a separate community next door, so do not give Emirates Hills if your host wrote The Lakes. The right pair, neighbourhood name plus street, points the driver to the correct gate. Guests at the Address Montgomerie hotel should give the hotel name instead, as that is a different pickup.

Vehicles

Which vehicle suits a The Lakes transfer?

The Lakes has villas and townhouses, so families are the most common passengers. An SUV (Toyota Prado or GMC Yukon class, or similar) takes up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags, while a sedan (Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima class) takes up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags. A Mercedes-Benz S-Class class executive car suits a business traveller, and a van (Toyota Hiace class, 6 to 14 seats) fits two families travelling together. Coaches take 15 or more. Final vehicle details come with your quote.

Questions

The Lakes transfer questions

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp and include your flight or pickup time.

What are the neighbourhoods inside The Lakes?

A property guide lists Hattan, Deema, Maeen, Zulal, Forat and Ghadeer. Use the one on your paperwork, with the street and villa number.

Is The Lakes the same as Emirates Hills?

No. Emaar lists The Lakes and Emirates Hills as separate sub-communities of Emirates Living. Give the community name exactly as your host wrote it, with the street and villa number.

Can you collect me from The Lakes Club?

Yes, ask for it when you request the quote. Say which entrance you will wait at and send a pin when you are outside.

Should I put Hattan or The Lakes as my pickup?

Use whichever your tenancy papers show, and add the other in brackets if you are unsure. Send the street and villa number as well, and the team will help match them before the quote is finalised.

Who arranges visitor access at the gate?

Your host or the community management. Emaar describes Emirates Living as gated with round-the-clock security, so ask them what the driver needs and send us any name or code.
