Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) Airport Transfers

The district is large, and a tower on the far side of a lake is a real detour if the wrong cluster is used.

Arriving at DXB

A JLT arrival request should carry the flight details plus a cluster letter and tower. Send the terminal, flight number, landing date and time in UAE time, and your destination written as, for example, Cluster W, Tiffany Tower, with the entrance if you know it. The driver meets you in the arrivals area holding a name board, we follow your flight status, and free waiting time of 30 minutes is included. JLT sits on Sheikh Zayed Road, and the driver picks the route and the cluster approach to suit traffic on the day.

Leaving for your flight

To leave JLT for DXB, send the flight time and terminal, the pickup time you want in UAE time and your cluster letter and tower. Tell us the entrance you will wait at and whether the tower has a separate hotel or residential lobby, then bring your bags down before the car arrives. Airlines publish their own check-in advice, and we plan the pickup around the time you ask for. Staying in JLT for work? List each colleague's tower in the same request, so every stop is on the quote.

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

JLT is in the western part of Dubai, near Jebel Ali according to its own website, and Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, in the Jebel Ali part of the emirate. That makes DWC a realistic option for residents and hotel guests here whose airline flies from it. If your ticket shows DWC, add the airport code to your request with the flight details, and the team quotes that trip separately. The pickup is planned like any other: flight tracking, a name board at arrivals and 30 minutes of free waiting time.

Pickup and drop-off tips for JLT

Cluster letter, tower name, entrance

JLT's official hotel guide places Mövenpick in Cluster A, voco Bonnington in Cluster J, Pullman in Cluster T, Oaks Liwa Heights in Cluster W and Taj in Cluster X. Offices and flats follow the same pattern, for example Tiffany Tower in Cluster W. Send the cluster letter with the tower name and the entrance you want. A tower name on its own can be hard to place on a map.

Two metro stations, both renamed

JLT is served by two Red Line stations: DMCC, formerly the JLT station, and Sobha Realty, formerly Dubai Marina. The JLT website says the Dubai Tram links to both. Maps and older documents may still use the former names, so treat a station as a second landmark and let the cluster letter and tower do the main work.

Parking and where the car stops

JLT's own FAQ says every residential and commercial tower has designated parking for residents and tenants, with paid public parking around the clusters, and that a central ring road handles local access. Tell us where your building expects visitors' cars to stop, and be at that entrance when the driver arrives so the car is not left circling the cluster.

Meeting at JLT Park

JLT Park lies between Clusters P and Q. The community events calendar lists Gate 2 in Cluster P and film nights and other events in JLT Park, Cluster Q. For a pickup after an event or a game, name the gate or cluster you will be at instead of saying 'JLT Park', and send a WhatsApp pin when you are ready.

Lake D works and the BAY360 hub

JLT's community updates say Lake D is being drained in phases for maintenance and for BAY360, a new retail and dining hub with a Spinneys supermarket and an underground car park. Pedestrian access stays open through marked diversions, and a new pedestrian route from the metro station to the far side of the lake is planned. If your tower is close to Lake D, plan to meet the driver at the tower's entrance or car park rather than at a lakeside spot, and send a pin on the day.

Which vehicle suits a JLT transfer?

JLT mixes flats, offices and hotels, so trips range from solo business travellers to families with cases. A sedan (Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima class, or similar) takes up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags, and an SUV takes up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags. Hotel guests at the larger JLT hotels can ask for a Mercedes-Benz S-Class class executive car, and a Toyota Hiace class van, seating 6 to 14, suits office teams or families sharing flats. Coaches (15+ passengers) cover conference groups. The final vehicle is confirmed with your quote.

What does 'Cluster' mean in a JLT address?

JLT's towers are grouped into lettered clusters, and the JLT website describes 26 clusters labelled A to Z. Hotels, offices and flats give their address as a cluster letter plus a tower. If your confirmation shows only a tower name, ask the host or hotel for the cluster letter.

Should I name DMCC or Sobha Realty metro station?

Either works as a second landmark, as JLT is served by both: DMCC, formerly the JLT station, and Sobha Realty, formerly Dubai Marina. Neither station names a building, so the cluster letter and tower name still matter more.

Is JLT the same as Dubai Marina?

No. JLT lies along Sheikh Zayed Road directly opposite Dubai Marina, according to its own website, and the two have separate addresses. Dubai Marina and JBR have their own pages here, so tell us which one your hotel or flat is in.

Can I take the metro to the airport from JLT instead?

The Red Line stations that serve JLT are on the same line as the DXB stations at Terminals 1 and 3, so the metro is an option if you travel light.
