Al Quoz Airport Transfers

We arrange private airport transfers between Al Quoz and Dubai International (DXB) or Al Maktoum International (DWC). Send your flight number, landing time in UAE time and the street and unit you are going to, and the team replies with a quote on WhatsApp or by phone. The service runs 24/7 and follows your flight, so an arrival pickup is planned around the actual landing.

Wikipedia describes Al Quoz as primarily an industrial area that is also known for contemporary art galleries, shops, theatres and restaurants, lying between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road. Homes sit in the numbered Al Quoz sections, while Al Quoz Industrial Areas 1 to 4 hold factories, warehouses and workshops. Alserkal Avenue, a gallery district in a former warehouse complex, opened in 2008. Few of these places have a hotel-style lobby, so a street number, a unit number and a named entrance do most of the work for a driver.

Al Quoz to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

Heading to Al Quoz from DXB? Send the terminal, flight number, landing date and time in UAE time, the number of passengers and bags, and the street and unit or the Alserkal Avenue entrance you want. A driver holding a name board meets you in the arrivals area, the team follows your flight's status, and free waiting time of 30 minutes is included. Al Quoz lies between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road, and your driver chooses the route to suit traffic that day. If you are going straight to a meeting, add its start time and the contact's name.

Dubai International (DXB) guide

Leaving for your flight

For a flight out of DXB, tell us the street and unit, entrance or villa where we collect you, your terminal and flight time, and the pickup time you want in UAE time. Airlines publish their own check-in advice, so choose a time that fits it and the team confirms it with your quote. Have luggage at the gate or lobby before the driver arrives, and keep your phone on so the driver can reach you if the unit is hard to spot from the road. Say how many passengers and bags there are, because that decides the vehicle.

DWC

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South. Most people travelling from Al Quoz use DXB, but if your ticket shows DWC, put the airport code in your request along with the flight number and time. The team quotes the DWC trip separately and plans it like any other pickup, with flight tracking, a name board at arrivals and free waiting time of 30 minutes. Staff from one company flying to different airports can list every flight in a single message.

Local know-how

Pickup and drop-off tips for Al Quoz

Alserkal Avenue has three entrances

Alserkal's visitor page lists entrances on 17th Street, 6A Street and First Al Khail Street, and says parking inside the Avenue is restricted, with more than 500 RTA parking spaces nearby. Tell us which entrance you will be at, or send a location pin from it. The Avenue is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., but individual galleries and businesses set their own hours, so check the venue you are visiting before you choose a pickup time.

Numbered streets, numbered units

Streets around Alserkal are known by number, for example 17th Street and 6A Street. For a warehouse, workshop or showroom, send the street number, the unit or warehouse number, the company name on the signboard and a phone number that will be answered. Two businesses on one street can have similar names, so the unit number and a pin dropped at your gate are the details that settle it.

Showrooms along Sheikh Zayed Road

The stretch of Al Quoz beside Sheikh Zayed Road is known for car showrooms and service centres, according to Wikipedia. If you are collecting a vehicle or visiting a dealer, name the brand and the showroom, and say whether you will leave from the front entrance or the service area. A showroom and its workshop may be separate doors, so ask the staff which one you should wait at.

Homes and villas

Property Finder lists residential sections in Al Quoz 1, 2 and 4, with villas in Al Quoz 4. For a home, send the section number, the street, the villa or building name and the flat number, with a pin from your door. Al Quoz is a large district, so the area name alone will not take a driver to your door. If your building has a security desk or intercom, tell us who the driver should ask for.

Good to know

Alserkal Avenue directions for drivers

Alserkal Avenue publishes its own route for people arriving by car: leave Sheikh Zayed Road at the Al Manara exit (Exit 43), continue on Al Manara Street to the traffic light facing Home Centre, turn right onto First Al Khail Street, right onto 17th Street, then left onto 6A Street for the large parking area and the Pedestrian Entrance. Your driver chooses the route on the day, but those entrance and street names are worth quoting. For the metro, its page names Onpassive station, formerly Al Safa, as the nearest, so older apps may still show the old name.

Vehicles

Which vehicle suits a Al Quoz transfer?

Gallery visitors and business travellers usually fit a sedan (Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima class, or similar), which takes up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags. Visitors carrying artwork, samples or equipment cases should say so, because bulky items may need an SUV (Toyota Prado or GMC Yukon class, up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags) or a Toyota Hiace class van seating 6 to 14. A group tour or a team visiting a warehouse can ask about a mini bus or coach for 15 or more. The final vehicle is confirmed with your quote.

Questions

Al Quoz transfer questions

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp and include your flight or pickup time.

Which Alserkal Avenue entrance should I give?

Give the one your ticket or host names. The Avenue has entrances on 17th Street, 6A Street and First Al Khail Street, and its visitor page puts the Pedestrian Entrance and a large parking area off 6A Street. A location pin from the entrance removes any doubt.

Which metro station is nearest to Alserkal Avenue?

Alserkal's page names Onpassive station, formerly Al Safa, as the nearest. Wikipedia's Red Line table lists the former name, which some apps still use. For a car, an entrance on 17th Street, 6A Street or First Al Khail Street is clearer than a station.

My warehouse has no building name. What do I send?

Send the street number, the unit or warehouse number, the company name on the signboard, a map pin and a phone number. A photo of the gate sent on WhatsApp also helps if the street is hard to read from the road.

Can you collect a group after a gallery tour?

Yes. Send the number of people, the entrance and the pickup time you choose in UAE time, because gallery hours differ from venue to venue. Groups of 6 to 14 fit a van, and 15 or more can ask about a mini bus or coach.
