Emirates Hills to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

Flying into DXB for a stay in Emirates Hills? Send the terminal (Terminals 1, 2 or 3; Emirates uses Terminal 3), flight number, landing date and time in UAE time, passengers and bags, and the sector, villa and street or the hotel. Your driver meets you in the arrivals area with a name board, the team follows the flight's status so the pickup moves with a delay, and free waiting time of 30 minutes is included. Emaar places Emirates Living between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road, and the driver chooses the route. If your host is arranging gate access, include their name and mobile number.

Leaving for your flight

For a flight out of DXB, send the terminal, flight time, the pickup time you want in UAE time and the villa or hotel where we collect you. Ask your host to let the community's security know when the car will arrive, if the gate needs notice, and have luggage by the door before the driver reaches you. Airlines publish their own check-in advice, so choose a time that fits it and the team confirms it with your quote. Say how many people and large bags are travelling, golf bags included.

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, in the Jebel Ali part of the emirate. Most travellers staying in Emirates Hills use DXB, but check the airport code on your ticket, because some airlines use DWC. If yours does, put the code in your request with the flight number and landing time in UAE time. The team quotes DWC separately and runs it the same way: flight tracking, a name board at arrivals and free waiting time of 30 minutes.

Pickup and drop-off tips for Emirates Hills

Sector, villa number, street

Property Finder's area page for Emirates Hills lists homes by sector, for example Sector E, L, P, R and W. Send the sector, the villa number, the street name and a location pin, plus the Makani number if your host has it: it is the 10-digit entrance code issued under Dubai Municipality. A villa number on its own is not enough, so let the sector and street complete the address.

Visitor access is your host's job

Wikipedia and Vida Emirates Hills both call Emirates Hills a gated community, and Emaar says Emirates Living has round-the-clock security. We do not know the gate rules for your street and will not guess them. If you are a guest, ask your host to arrange visitor access before you land and to tell you what the gate needs. Pass that to the team in your request, with a phone number that will be answered.

Hotel guests: name the hotel

Address Montgomerie gives its address as Emirates Hills, and Vida Emirates Hills lists The Hills, Emirates Hills. If you are staying at either, give the hotel name, not the community. Ask reception how arrivals and departures are handled for your stay, say which entrance you were told to use, and have your luggage ready there at the pickup time you choose.

Golf days

Wikipedia places the community next to the Emirates Golf Club, and Emaar lists the Montgomerie Golf Club as a landmark. For a round or a meal at a clubhouse, tell us which club, which entrance, and how many golf bags are travelling, because bags affect the vehicle. For a pickup after play, send a pin from the entrance when you are ready.

Emirates Hills, The Springs, The Meadows and The Lakes

Emaar's Emirates Living page lists Emirates Hills as one of five villa areas, alongside The Springs, The Meadows, The Lakes and Hattan, and Property Finder names the first three as neighbours. An invitation that says only 'Emirates Living' could mean any of them. Ask your host which community the house is in, then send the sector, villa number and street, so the driver is not sent to the wrong one. Emirates Living is a group of communities rather than a single address, so confirm the community name even if the villa number looks complete.

Which vehicle suits a Emirates Hills transfer?

Villa households often travel as families with several large cases, so an SUV (Toyota Prado or GMC Yukon class, or similar), with up to 5 passengers and 4 large bags, is the usual choice. A Toyota Hiace class van, seating 6 to 14, suits a larger household or relatives arriving together with golf bags. Hotel guests and business visitors can ask for a Mercedes-Benz S-Class class executive car, up to 3 passengers, or a sedan. Parties of 15 or more can ask about a mini bus or coach. The final vehicle is confirmed with your quote.

No. Emirates Living is the wider Emaar community, and Emirates Hills is one of its villa areas along with The Springs, The Meadows, The Lakes and Hattan. Name the community and the street in your message.

Do I give the villa or the golf course as the pickup?

Give the place where you will stand. The courses are landmarks, but a driver needs the sector, villa number and street, or the clubhouse entrance if the pickup really is at a club.

What if the driver cannot get through the gate on the day?

Keep your phone on and message the team on WhatsApp straight away. Having your host's number in the request means the driver or the team can reach someone who can speak to security.
