Dubai Marina to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

Arriving at DXB and heading for Dubai Marina, include the terminal (Terminals 1, 2 or 3; Emirates uses Terminal 3), your flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time, the number of passengers and bags, and the exact tower or hotel. Your driver meets you in the arrivals area holding a name board, and the team follows the flight's status so the pickup is planned around the actual arrival. 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. Emaar's own directions for the Marina use Sheikh Zayed Road, so expect that to be the main road in. You receive a quote first, and the team then confirms the arrangements with you.

Leaving for your flight

For a flight out of Dubai Marina, tell us the tower, the entrance and the time you want to be collected, in UAE time. Work that time back from your own flight and your airline's check-in advice, since we plan the pickup around the time you ask for. Towers here often mean a lift ride with cases, so say whether you will be at the lobby or the basement and how many large bags you have. Return trips can be quoted in the same message, so your arrival and your departure are arranged together.

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, towards Jebel Ali, and some Marina residents and visitors fly from there rather than DXB. The airport code is printed on your ticket or booking confirmation from the airline, so check it before you message us. If it says DWC, send the same details as for DXB: tower, flight number and landing or departure time in UAE time. We quote DWC trips in the same way, and you can ask for both airports in one message if your outbound and return flights differ.

Pickup and drop-off tips for Dubai Marina

Say which side of the tower you will wait on

Many Marina towers face the water on one side and a road on the other. Give the name shown on the building, then say whether you will be at the marina-side door, the road-side door or the basement. If you are in a hotel, add the reception name. A WhatsApp location pin dropped outside the exact door saves the driver from guessing between two entrances.

Do not wait on the promenade itself

Marina Walk and Marina Promenade are waterfront strips of restaurants and cafés with terrace seating, so a guest standing with luggage is easy to miss among diners. Pick a building entrance or tower lobby close by and tell us which one. If you are finishing a meal on the promenade, mention the restaurant name as well as the nearest tower.

Dubai Marina Mall and the hotel beside it

Dubai Marina Mall sits just off Sheikh Zayed Road, and JW Marriott Hotel Marina is directly connected to it. If you will be inside the mall, name the entrance or the level where you will be standing, because the visitor car park has several levels. Guests staying at the hotel should say hotel lobby so the driver does not look for you in the mall.

Returning from a boat or yacht trip

The Dubai Marina Yacht Club runs two marinas, East Marina and West Bay Marina. If your cruise ends there and you want a pickup for the airport straight afterwards, tell us which marina you will leave from and give a landmark such as the club building. Mention how many bags are waiting on board or at your hotel, so the right vehicle is quoted.

The Marina metro station has had three names

The Red Line station beside the Marina opened as Damac, became Dubai Marina in 2020 and has been called Sobha Realty since 2021. The Dubai Tram stop is still listed as Dubai Marina and connects to it. Friends, old maps and some apps use different names for the same place, so a guest who says Dubai Marina Metro may mean either one. For a driver, a tower or hotel name is a clearer meeting point than a station name, so use the station only as a landmark in your message.

Which vehicle suits a Dubai Marina transfer?

Couples with cabin bags usually fit a sedan, which takes up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags. Families staying in Marina apartments with several suitcases do better in an SUV, which takes up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags. For a business guest or a special arrival, the luxury executive car seats up to 3. Groups sharing a few towers can use a van, which seats 6 to 14, and larger parties of 15 or more can ask about a mini bus or coach. The fleet cards show example models, and the final vehicle is confirmed with your quote.

My building is on the canal but my address mentions Marina Walk. What should I tell the driver?

Give the tower name exactly as it appears on the building, then say whether you will wait at the marina-side door or the road-side door. Add a WhatsApp location pin if you can. That is usually enough for the driver to pick the right entrance.

Can you collect me from Dubai Marina Mall or the Yacht Club?

Yes, both can be used as pickup points. For the mall, name the entrance or car park level; for the Dubai Marina Yacht Club, say which marina, East Marina or West Bay Marina. The quote follows once we have the airport and flight details.

We are one group staying in two different Marina towers. Can one vehicle serve both?

Tell us both tower names and the group size, and the team will suggest whether one van with two stops or two separate vehicles suits you better. A van seats 6 to 14. The quote reflects whichever arrangement you choose.

Can I arrange a transfer from Dubai Marina to Abu Dhabi's Zayed International instead of Dubai?
