Deira and northern Creek

Port Saeed Airport Transfers

Port Saeed is the Deira district around Deira City Centre, and we arrange private cars between its hotels and homes and Dubai International (DXB) or Al Maktoum International (DWC). Send the hotel or building name, your flight number and the date and time in UAE time on WhatsApp or by phone, and we reply with a tailored quote. We follow the flight status, and arrivals are met with a name board.

The district stretches between Al Garhoud Bridge and Al Maktoum Bridge, with the Creek to its south, Al Khabaisi to the north and Al Garhoud to the east. Deira City Centre opened in 1995, several hotels are connected to it, and City Centre Deira metro station is in the district too. A small residential neighbourhood was redesigned by Dubai Municipality after 2003, and the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club takes up almost half of the area. With so many places sharing the City Centre name, the entrance you give matters.

Port Saeed to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

Landing at DXB, send the terminal (Terminals 1, 2 or 3, with Emirates at Terminal 3), your flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time and the full name of your hotel or building in Port Saeed. We follow the flight status, so a delay moves the pickup. The driver waits in the arrivals area with a name board, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. Port Saeed sits next to Al Garhoud, which borders the airport, so the main thing to settle is which entrance and which City Centre name you mean.

Dubai International (DXB) guide

Leaving for your flight

For a flight from DXB, tell us the flight time and the time you want to be collected, in UAE time, with your hotel or building and a map pin. Look up your airline's advice on when to reach the airport and then give us the pickup time you choose. Guests in the City Centre hotels should say which hotel lobby they will wait in, and anyone leaving from the mall should name the entrance. If you are coming straight from shopping with bags, tell us how many. A return arrival can be quoted at the same time.

DWC

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, which is a different part of Dubai from Port Saeed. Most travellers here fly from DXB, but if your ticket says DWC we quote it the same way: send the flight number, the date and time in UAE time and your hotel or building, and give the airport code in your first message. Transfers can be planned in both directions, including early and late flights.

Local know-how

Pickup and drop-off tips for Port Saeed

One name, several doors

City Centre Deira is the name of the mall, the metro station and several of the hotels joined to it. When you ask for a pickup, say whether you mean a hotel, a mall entrance or the metro exit, and give the hotel's full name. The connected hotels include Novotel, ibis, Pullman, Aloft and City Centre Hotel and Residence, and a driver sent to the wrong one starts in the wrong place.

Newer residential streets

Behind the mall and hotel frontage there is a small residential neighbourhood that Dubai Municipality redesigned after 2003, with newer buildings added since. Give the building name and the road, and send a map pin dropped at the entrance itself rather than at the street corner. Say whether your door is on the street or in a car park.

The two bridges as markers

Port Saeed runs from Al Garhoud Bridge at one end to Al Maktoum Bridge at the other. If you are close to one of them, name it and say which side of the road you are standing on, so the driver can approach from the right direction. Share a phone number you will answer, because the driver may need to confirm the final turn.

Good to know

The creek-side club

The Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club takes up almost half of Port Saeed, with its sail-shaped clubhouse, golf course, marina, villas, creek-side restaurants and the Park Hyatt Dubai. Some listings place the club and hotel in Al Garhoud instead, so name the venue itself and send a map pin rather than relying on the district. For a villa inside the grounds, give the villa number and tell us if the entrance is gated. For a restaurant, name it and the entrance the driver should use.

Vehicles

Which vehicle suits a Port Saeed transfer?

A couple staying at a City Centre hotel with a case each fit a sedan (Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima class, up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags). Families coming back from the mall with extra bags usually need an SUV (Toyota Prado or GMC Yukon class, up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags), and business visitors can ask for the luxury executive car (Mercedes-Benz S-Class class, up to 3 passengers). Two families travelling together fit a van (Toyota Hiace class, 6 to 14 seats), and 15 or more need a mini bus or coach. Models are 'or similar', confirmed with your quote.

Questions

Port Saeed transfer questions

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp and include your flight or pickup time.

Is the Park Hyatt in Port Saeed or Al Garhoud?

Listings use both names for the creek-side club and hotel area. Give us the hotel name and a map pin, and we plan the pickup from those.

Do I give the mall, the metro station or my hotel?

Give the place where you will actually stand. If you are staying in one of the connected hotels, that is the hotel lobby or forecourt; if you are at the mall or the metro, name the exit and send a pin.

We are two families, nine of us in all. Which vehicle do we need?

A van seats 6 to 14 (Toyota Hiace class), so nine passengers fit in one, depending on luggage. Tell us the hotel and how many large bags there are, and the final vehicle is confirmed with your quote.

Is Deira City Centre in Port Saeed?

Yes, the mall is in Port Saeed, so either name works if you add the hotel or entrance you mean. Send the details and we reply with a quote.
