Al Muraqqabat Airport Transfers

Al Muraqqabat is a densely populated residential and commercial district in Deira, and we arrange private cars between its hotels, towers and offices and Dubai International (DXB) or Al Maktoum International (DWC). Message the building or hotel name, your flight number and the date and time in UAE time on WhatsApp or by phone to get a tailored quote. Flight status is followed for airport pickups, and arriving guests are met with a name board.

A numbered street grid covers the district, and Al Muraqqabat Road splits it into a mostly residential western side and a more commercial eastern side with banks, hotels and restaurants. Al Ghurair Centre, Hamarain Centre, Reef Mall and Warba Centre are the landmarks people usually quote, and Fish Roundabout marks one end of the grid. With so many residents in a small area, the street number and nearest mall tell the driver more than the district name.

Al Muraqqabat to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

Landing at DXB, send the terminal (Terminals 1, 2 or 3, with Emirates at Terminal 3), your flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time, and the building or hotel with its street number. We follow the flight status, so a delay moves your pickup. Your driver waits in the arrivals area with a name board, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. Mention the nearest mall or roundabout as well, for example Hamarain Centre or Fish Roundabout, so the driver can place the address on the grid before leaving the airport. If a relative will meet you at the building, share their phone number too.

Dubai International (DXB) guide

Leaving for your flight

For a flight from DXB, give us the flight time and the time you want to be collected, in UAE time, with the building or hotel, the street number and the exit you will use. Check your airline's advice on when to arrive, then tell us the pickup time you decide on. Residents on the western, residential side should say whether the pickup is at a tower entrance or a side street, and guests of the eastern-side hotels should name the hotel door. Bring your cases down before the driver calls. A return arrival can be quoted in the same message.

DWC

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, well away from Al Muraqqabat, and most travellers from this district use DXB. If your ticket shows DWC, put the airport code in your first message along with the flight time in UAE time, so the quote is for the right airport. We quote DWC transfers in both directions from any building or hotel in the district, and an early or late-night pickup can be planned around the flight.

Local know-how

Pickup and drop-off tips for Al Muraqqabat

Name the mall and the side

Al Ghurair Centre, Reef Mall, Hamarain Centre and Warba Centre are the landmarks in the district, and each is large, with several doors and car parks. Say which mall and which side of it you will wait on, or choose the entrance of a hotel beside it, and send a map pin. Salah Al Din metro station is close to Reef Mall and Al Ghurair Centre, and Abu Baker Al Siddique station is close to Hamarain Centre, which helps when you describe the approach.

Lead with the street number

Odd-numbered streets run from 1st Street near Fish Roundabout to 45th Street near Hamarain Centre, and even-numbered streets start from Salahuddin Road. Give the street number and whichever of those two landmarks is nearer, then add the building name, the floor and a phone number someone will answer. That narrows the search far more than the word Muraqqabat.

Hotels on the commercial side

The banks, restaurants and hotels cluster on the eastern side of Al Muraqqabat Road, with shop fronts all along the pavement. Quote the hotel's full name and the street its main entrance faces, since the next door along may belong to a shop. If you leave at a busy check-out hour, give the time you expect to reach the lobby and the pickup is set from that.

Shared tower entrances

Many residents share a small area, and a tower entrance may serve several buildings at once. Tell us which door you will use, how many cases are coming down and whether there is a separate car-park exit. Be at the door when the driver calls, because a car left standing at a shared entrance may have to move on.

Vehicles

Which vehicle suits a Al Muraqqabat transfer?

A family of five with four large bags fits one SUV (Toyota Prado or GMC Yukon class, up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags). One or two travellers with a case each can take a sedan (Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima class, up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags). Business guests staying at the hotels can ask for the luxury executive car (Mercedes-Benz S-Class class, up to 3 passengers). Extended families and groups of 6 to 14 fit a van (Toyota Hiace class), and 15 or more need a mini bus or coach. Models are 'or similar', confirmed with your quote.

Questions

Al Muraqqabat transfer questions

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp and include your flight or pickup time.

Which mall entrance should I give near Al Ghurair Centre or Reef Mall?

Name the mall and the side or gate you will stand at, or pick a hotel entrance next to it, and send a map pin. A mall has several approaches, so the entrance matters more than the mall name.

How do I describe a tower in the residential part of Al Muraqqabat?

Give the street number, the building name and the floor, plus a phone number that works in the UAE. Add Fish Roundabout or Hamarain Centre, whichever is nearer, and the driver can place the street.

Is Fish Roundabout a good place to meet the driver?

It works as a landmark for orientation but not as a place to stop, since a car cannot wait on a roundabout. Pick a building entrance or a street corner close to it and send a pin.

There are five of us with luggage. Which vehicle do we need?

An SUV takes up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags. If you have more than four large bags, a van is the safer choice, and the final vehicle is confirmed with your quote.
