Abu Hail Airport Transfers

Abu Hail is a largely residential neighbourhood in Deira, bordered by Al Waheda, Hor Al Anz and Al Baraha. The Abu Hail Shopping Centre is the local landmark, and Abu Hail station on the Green Line, which opened on 9 September 2011, stands on Salah Al Din Street close to the centre and to Pearl Wisdom School Dubai. Because the district, the station and the shopping centre share one name, a pickup request should say which of them you mean.

Arriving at DXB

Landing at DXB, send the terminal (Terminals 1, 2 or 3, with Emirates at Terminal 3), flight number, landing date and time in UAE time and the building or landmark in Abu Hail. We follow the flight status, so a late landing moves the pickup. Your driver meets you in the arrivals area with a name board, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. If you are going to a flat, add the floor and a number for your host. If you are heading for the shopping centre area, say whether you mean the centre, the station or a building nearby.

Leaving for your flight

For a flight from DXB, give us the flight time and the time you want to be collected, in UAE time, with the building and the exit you will use. Check your airline's advice on when to reach the airport, then tell us the pickup time you choose. Early-morning and overnight flights are planned the same way, since we operate 24/7, but your bags should be at the door when the driver calls. If the station or shopping centre is your reference, add the building too. A return arrival can be quoted with it.

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, at the other end of Dubai from Abu Hail, so DXB is the usual choice for travellers here. If your ticket shows DWC, mention it in your first message with the flight time in UAE time. We quote DWC transfers from Abu Hail in both directions, and the pickup is planned the same way as for any other airport run.

Say which Abu Hail

Abu Hail is the district, the Green Line station and the shopping centre. Tell us which you mean, then add the building name next to it. 'Outside the Abu Hail Centre on the street side' gives a driver one place to look, whereas 'Abu Hail' on its own gives several.

Meeting near the station

Abu Hail station is on Salah Al Din Street and close to several bus routes, so the area around its exits is busy. Give us the exit you will use and a building entrance on a quieter street nearby, and wait there instead of at the station door. A pin dropped on the exact spot saves a phone call.

Residential buildings

Most addresses here are residential buildings. Give the building name, the street and the floor or unit, plus a phone number that works in the UAE. If the building has a separate car-park or rear exit, say which door you will use, and tell us how many cases are coming down so the loading is planned.

Near the school

Pearl Wisdom School Dubai is close to the station, so entrances around it may be busy when the school day starts and ends. If your pickup is near a school gate, name the gate and the time in UAE time, and we can plan the stop with that in mind.

A solo traveller or couple with one or two cases can take a sedan (Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima class, up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags). A family of up to five fits an SUV (Toyota Prado or GMC Yukon class, up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags), while a family of six heading home with six large cases is a van job (Toyota Hiace class, 6 to 14 seats).
