Deira and northern Creek

Al Mamzar Airport Transfers

Al Mamzar is Dubai's north-eastern coastal locality, with the Gulf to the north and the emirate of Sharjah to the east. We arrange private cars between Al Mamzar and Dubai International (DXB) or Al Maktoum International (DWC), and because Sharjah is next door, Sharjah International (SHJ) transfers can be quoted as well. Send your address, flight number and the date and time in UAE time on WhatsApp or by phone for a tailored quote. Flights are followed, and arriving guests are met by a driver with a name board.

Al Mamzar is quieter than central Deira. Its landmarks include Al Ittihad School, the Dubai Cultural and Scientific Association and Al Gaz Mosque, and the north-eastern section is residential. Al Mamzar Beach Park draws day visitors, and the wider Al Mamzar continues into Sharjah, so one name can describe addresses in two emirates. Always say which side you are on when you ask for a pickup.

Al Mamzar to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

From DXB, send the terminal (1, 2 or 3, with Emirates at Terminal 3), your flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time, and the full address in Al Mamzar with the emirate. If you land at Sharjah International (SHJ) instead, say so and the request is handled the same way. We follow the flight status, so a delay moves the pickup. The driver meets you in the arrivals area with a name board, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. Al Ittihad Road and Al Khaleej Road are both named in local descriptions of Al Mamzar, so tell us which one your building faces.

Dubai International (DXB) guide

Leaving for your flight

For a flight, send the flight time and the pickup time you want in UAE time, plus your address and a map pin. Check your airline's own advice on when to be at the airport, then tell us the time you decide on. If you are coming straight from Al Mamzar Beach Park, name the entrance you will be at and keep wet towels and swimwear in a separate bag. Plan to meet at an entrance or a road edge rather than on the sand or a path. A return arrival can be quoted at the same time.

DWC

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, near Jebel Ali, on the opposite side of Dubai from Al Mamzar, which sits at the north-eastern edge beside Sharjah. DWC applies only when your ticket names it. If it does, send the flight number, the date and time in UAE time and your address, and we quote the transfer in either direction. For flights from Sharjah, name SHJ instead, as it is a separate airport and we quote that too.

Local know-how

Pickup and drop-off tips for Al Mamzar

Dubai side or Sharjah side

Al Mamzar does not stop at the border, because part of the wider locality lies in Sharjah. Give the emirate with your building, villa or rental name and the street, so the driver sets the right address in the navigation from the start. If you are staying near the border, a map pin from your own entrance removes any doubt, and it takes a few seconds to send.

Villas and low-rise homes

The north-eastern section is residential. Give the villa or building number, the street and a nearby landmark such as Al Gaz Mosque or Al Ittihad School. School entrances are busy when classes start and end, so choose a different reference point if your pickup falls at those times, and send a pin from your own gate rather than from the end of the street.

Name the road your entrance faces

Al Khaleej Road and Al Ittihad Road are both named in descriptions of Al Mamzar. Tell us which road your entrance faces, or send the pin so there is no guessing. If you are a visitor with no street name to hand, give the name of the rental or accommodation exactly as it appears on your booking, plus a phone number that works in the UAE.

Say which airport you fly from

Al Mamzar sits next to Sharjah, so travellers here may fly from DXB, DWC or Sharjah International (SHJ). Check the airport code on your ticket and put it in your first message with the flight number. We plan the pickup around the flight you name, so the right airport at the start saves a round of questions later.

Good to know

Collecting from Al Mamzar Beach Park

Al Mamzar Beach Park is the district's best-known place, listed by Visit Dubai as a large beach park for families. Local guides mention a beach, playgrounds, cycling and jogging tracks, a skate area and a public barbecue space, so visitors often leave with children, coolers and wet bags. If your pickup is from the park, tell us which entrance you will wait at, how many people and bags there are, and send a pin from that spot. Meet at an entrance or a road edge, not on the sand, and keep your phone with you for the driver's call.

Vehicles

Which vehicle suits a Al Mamzar transfer?

Couples and solo travellers fit a sedan (Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima class, up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags). Families coming home from a beach day with towels, bags and children usually need an SUV (Toyota Prado or GMC Yukon class, up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags). A group of 6 to 14 can take a van (Toyota Hiace class), and 15 or more need a mini bus or coach. Business travellers can ask for the luxury executive car (Mercedes-Benz S-Class class, up to 3 passengers). Models are 'or similar', confirmed with your quote.

Questions

Al Mamzar transfer questions

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp and include your flight or pickup time.

Is Al Mamzar in Dubai or Sharjah?

Both. Al Mamzar is a Dubai locality beside the Sharjah border, and part of the wider locality lies in Sharjah. Give us the emirate with your address and a map pin, and we plan the pickup to the right place.

Can you collect me from Al Mamzar Beach Park after a day on the beach?

Yes. Agree an entrance or road edge in advance, send a map pin and tell us how many people and bags there are. 30 minutes of free waiting time is included.

Can you quote a transfer from Al Mamzar to Sharjah airport?

Yes. Sharjah International (SHJ) is among the airports we serve. Send your address, the flight details and the date and time in UAE time, and we reply with a quote.

Which road should I name, Al Khaleej Road or Al Ittihad Road?

Whichever your building or entrance faces. If you are unsure, send a map pin and the building name, and that settles it.

We are a group of 18 leaving a gathering near Al Mamzar. What vehicle do we need?

A mini bus or coach covers 15 or more passengers. Tell us the meeting point and the number of large bags, and agree a spot on a road wide enough for it. The final vehicle is confirmed with your quote.
