Palm Jumeirah to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

Flying into DXB and staying on the Palm, send the terminal (Terminals 1, 2 or 3; Emirates uses Terminal 3), your flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time, the number of people and bags, and the exact resort, villa or building. Your driver meets you in arrivals with a name board and follows the flight's status, so a delayed landing is planned around the actual arrival. A free 30 minutes of waiting time is included. For a Crescent resort, the final stretch goes through the tunnel at the tip of the Trunk, as Nakheel describes. You receive a quote first, and the team then confirms the arrangements.

Leaving for your flight

From the Palm to the airport, give the resort, villa or building, your frond letter or Crescent location, and the time you want to be collected in UAE time. Work that time back from your flight and your airline's check-in advice; we plan around the time you give. Ask your host or reception to have the bags ready at the door, so loading starts as soon as the car arrives. Add the number of passengers and large bags so the right vehicle is quoted. A return trip can be quoted in the same message as your arrival.

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, towards Jebel Ali, and some Palm residents and holiday guests use it. Your ticket shows the airport code, DXB or DWC, so check it before you write. Send us the airport code as soon as you know it, together with the resort or villa, so the quote matches the right trip. If your inbound and outbound flights use different airports, include both in one request.

Pickup and drop-off tips for Palm Jumeirah

Say Trunk, frond or Crescent

Start your message with the part of the island, then add the name. Trunk stays are apartment blocks, hotels and malls on the main spine, such as Shoreline Apartments or The Palm Tower. Frond stays are villas. Crescent stays are the large resorts on the outer ring. With that one word the dispatcher knows the route and the kind of entrance, before reading the rest of your details.

Frond villas: letter, villa number, community gate

Fronds are known by letter, for example Frond E, and Nakheel describes them as private, gated villa communities. Give the frond letter, the villa number and the street or community name. If the entrance is staffed, ask your host or the community office whether a visitor needs to be registered, and tell us the name security will expect. A WhatsApp pin at the villa gate avoids a wrong turn inside the frond.

Crescent resorts: use the resort name, not the road

Crescent addresses are written in a few ways, such as Crescent Road, East Crescent or West Crescent, and they tell a driver little. Atlantis The Palm, One&Only The Palm, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray and Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah are among the resorts on the ring. Send the full resort name from your reservation and, for departures, ask reception to have your bags at the main entrance for the time you give.

Trunk apartments and the malls

The Trunk carries towers, hotels and shops, among them Nakheel Mall, Golden Mile Galleria, Palm West Beach and The Palm Tower. If you are in a block, give the building name, the tower or block letter and whether you will wait at the lobby or in the car park. If you are shopping or eating, name the mall or venue and the entrance, so the driver can meet you where a car can stop.

Atlantis The Palm and Atlantis The Royal are two resorts

Atlantis The Palm opened in 2008 and lists Crescent Road as its address. Atlantis The Royal opened in February 2023 and was reported by Khaleej Times to stand on the outer crescent of the Palm. They share a name and an operator but are separate resorts, each with its own reception, so a pickup can go wrong when a guest writes only Atlantis. Copy the exact name from your reservation, The Palm or The Royal, into your message. If you are visiting friends in one while staying in the other, say so.

Which vehicle suits a Palm Jumeirah transfer?

A sedan takes up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags and suits a couple heading to a resort. A family of four or five with checked cases, strollers and beach bags should look at the SUV, which carries up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags. The luxury executive car, with room for up to 3, fits a business arrival at a Crescent hotel. A group sharing a frond villa can stay together in a van with 6 to 14 seats. The fleet cards list example models, and the exact vehicle is confirmed once you accept the quote.

I am staying in a villa on a frond. What does the driver need at the gate?

Send the frond letter, villa number and community name, plus the name security will expect if visitors are logged. Your host or the community office can tell you what the gate requires. A WhatsApp pin at the villa helps once the car is inside.

Does it matter whether I stay at Atlantis The Palm or Atlantis The Royal?

Yes. They are two separate resorts on the Crescent, each with its own reception, and a driver needs the correct one. Copy the resort name exactly from your reservation.

Will the driver go through the tunnel for a Crescent resort?

Nakheel describes the Crescent as reached by a tunnel at the tip of the Trunk, so a driver heading for a resort on the ring uses it. You do not need to arrange anything for that. Just give the resort name.

Can you collect me from Nakheel Mall or a Trunk apartment?

Yes. Name the mall entrance or the building and the lobby, and say how many bags you have. The quote follows once we have your airport and flight time.
