Dubai Media City Airport Transfers

We provide private airport transfers between Dubai Media City and Dubai International (DXB) or Al Maktoum International (DWC). Send the building, the airport and terminal, the flight number and the date and time in UAE time. The team replies with a quote on WhatsApp or by phone, and can offer a car, SUV, executive car, van or coach at any hour.

Dubai Media City is a free zone run by TECOM Group for media, advertising and content companies, with names such as CNN, Discovery Networks, WPP and Publicis Groupe among its tenants. Its towers include Media One Tower, Aurora Tower, Shatha Tower and Arenco Tower, and it has an amphitheatre and courtyard for events. A visit here usually means a specific company, so the invitation's building name and the reception that expects you matter more than the district name.

Dubai Media City to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

Coming from DXB to a Media City address, send the terminal (Terminals 1, 2 or 3; Emirates uses Terminal 3), your flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time, the passenger count and bags, and the tower or hotel. Your driver stands in arrivals with a name board, and the team follows the flight's status, so a delay shifts the pickup instead of leaving the car waiting early. Your quote includes 30 minutes of free waiting time. If you go straight to a meeting, add its start time and the host's name at reception. A quote comes first, and the team then confirms the arrangements.

Dubai International (DXB) guide

Leaving for your flight

From Media City to the airport, give the tower or hotel, the entrance you will use, and the time you want the car, in UAE time. Work back from your flight and your airline's check-in advice; we plan around the time you give. Presenters and crews who finish a shoot or a panel should name the room or studio they are in as well as the building. A return trip can be requested in the same message, so the arrival and departure come with matching vehicle choices. Say how many people and large bags are travelling, because the vehicle is chosen by the load.

DWC

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, towards Jebel Ali. Business and event travellers should check the airport code on their itinerary, because some carriers use DWC instead of DXB. If your ticket says DWC, send the same pickup details and ask for a DWC quote. Teams flying in on different days or from different airports can list each arrival in one message, with the tower and the guest name for each.

Pickup and drop-off tips for Dubai Media City

Send the building from the invitation

A company name alone does not tell a driver which entrance to use. Copy the tower or building name from your meeting invitation, add the floor or reception if you have it, and tell us the name your host will leave at reception. If your host works from a shared office or studio, ask which building it is in before you message us.

Hotel and offices in the same tower

Media One Tower combines offices with a 370-room hotel, and Cushman and Wakefield notes a separate ground-floor entrance for the offices. A guest leaving for the airport should say whether they are coming down from the hotel or from an office. The two meeting points are different, and a driver at the wrong one can miss you.

Event evenings at the amphitheatre or courtyard

The DMC Amphitheatre and DMC Courtyard are listed venues in the zone. For an event pickup, name the venue, the side or gate you will leave through and the time you want the car, in UAE time. Choose that time yourself instead of waiting for the final act, because events change and we plan the pickup around the time you give us.

Hotel guests: name the lobby

Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City lists basement parking and valet service on its own site. If you stay there or in the hotel inside Media One Tower, give the hotel name and ask reception to have bags ready at the main entrance. For departures, tell reception which time you chose, so the porters are ready when the car comes.

Good to know

A tower with a hotel, offices and two doors

Media One Tower is a 40-storey mixed-use building completed in 2008. A 370-room hotel takes ten levels, with restaurants, a pool and meeting space, and Cushman and Wakefield says offices are reached by a separate ground-floor entrance. For airport pickups that creates two possible meeting points in one building. Guests who work in the offices and guests who sleep in the hotel should each say which side they are on, and a visitor invited to a meeting should ask the host for the correct door before sending the details to us.

Vehicles

Which vehicle suits a Dubai Media City transfer?

Solo staff and visiting executives fit a sedan, which takes up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags, or the luxury executive car with room for up to 3. Presenters with kit cases and a producer travelling with them may need the SUV, which carries up to 5 passengers and 4 large bags. A crew with equipment cases, or a team of six or more, should ask for a van with 6 to 14 seats. Delegations of 15 or more, for example a conference group, can ask about a mini bus or coach. The models on the fleet cards are examples, and the quote confirms the final vehicle.

Questions

Dubai Media City transfer questions

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp and include your flight or pickup time.

My meeting is in Media One Tower. Do I use the hotel entrance or the office entrance?

Ask your host. Cushman and Wakefield lists a separate ground-floor entrance for the offices, and the hotel has its own. Tell us which one you will use and the driver will wait there.

Can you collect a film or event crew with equipment cases?

Yes. List the number of people and the number and rough size of the cases. A van seats 6 to 14, and a mini bus or coach covers larger crews of 15 or more.

Which tram stop is nearest to Dubai Media City?

The Dubai Tram has a Media City station on its line along Al Sufouh Road. For the car, though, a tower or hotel name is clearer than a stop name, so use the stop only as a landmark in your message.

Can you take a guest from Dubai Media City to Sharjah or Ras Al Khaimah airport?

Yes. We serve Sharjah (SHJ) and Ras Al Khaimah (RKT) as well as DXB and DWC. Send the tower, the airport, the flight number and the time in UAE time for a quote.
