Naif to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

Landing at DXB, give us the terminal (Terminals 1, 2 and 3, with Emirates at Terminal 3), your flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time and the full address in Naif: street, building and floor. We follow the flight status, so a late landing moves the pickup. The driver meets you in the arrivals area with a name board, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. Many Naif buildings look alike, so name your hotel or block exactly as written on its sign and add a contact number for the driver to call near the end of the trip. If you are going to a friend's flat, send their number as well.

Leaving for your flight

For a flight from DXB, send the flight time, the pickup time you choose in UAE time, and the building, street and entrance. Check your airline's own advice on when to be at the airport, then tell us the time you decide on. Naif streets fill with shoppers and parked cars, so agree a stopping place with us beforehand, bring your bags down before the driver calls and tell us how many there are. We work 24/7, so an early-morning pickup is quoted the same way as a daytime one. A return arrival can be quoted at the same time.

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, near Jebel Ali, on the other side of Dubai from Naif. DXB is the usual choice for Naif addresses, but if your airline flies from DWC, send the flight number, the date and time in UAE time and your address, and we quote the transfer in both directions. DXB and DWC are different airports, so look at the airport code on your ticket before you message us.

Pickup and drop-off tips for Naif

Street, building and floor

Naif packs apartment blocks, offices, shops and small hotels onto the same narrow streets, and one street can hold several buildings with similar names. Give the street name or number, the building name as written on its sign, the floor if it matters, and a phone number that will be answered. A map pin dropped at the building's own entrance is worth more than any description of the district.

Say which side of Naif Souq

Naif Souq is a building with shops inside and busy streets around it. If you finish shopping there and head for a flight, tell us which side of the building you will be on and how many bags you carry. Wait at the road edge where a car can stop for a moment, rather than inside the market, and keep your phone in your hand so you can answer the driver at once.

Shared flats and groups leaving together

Many Naif flats are shared by several people. If you are leaving together, send one contact name and number, a list of passengers and the bags each person has. If people leave from different buildings, give each address separately. Six or more travelling together are easier to collect in one van than in two cars on a street with little room to stop.

Use Baniyas Square as your anchor

Baniyas Square metro station is the closest station to Naif, with the Al Manal Centre and Naif Souq listed nearby. If your street is hard to describe, give the square as the reference point, then the street and building. Baniyas Road is normally one of the busiest streets in the old town, so agree a spot that is off the main carriageway, such as a side street or an entrance where a car can pull in.

Naif Museum on Naif Road

Naif Museum is listed on Naif Road, on the site of the city's first police station, and Dubai's police force moved from Naif Fort to its present headquarters in Al Twar in 1973. If you are visiting before a flight, name the museum as your reference point, then choose a spot at the road edge where a car can pull in briefly and send a map pin from there. Tell us how many bags you are carrying, because the streets around are busy with shoppers and parked cars.
