Arriving at DXB

Landing at DXB and heading for Jumeirah Islands? Send the terminal (DXB has Terminals 1, 2 and 3, and Emirates uses Terminal 3), the flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time, and the villa as cluster number and villa number. The driver meets you in the arrivals area holding a name board, we follow your flight status, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. Wikipedia places the community between interchanges 5 and 6 of Sheikh Zayed Road, and the driver picks the route on the day.

Leaving for your flight

For a flight out of DXB or DWC, send the flight time and terminal, the pickup time you want in UAE time and your cluster and villa number. Say whether the driver should wait at your front door or at the Pavilion, and bring the bags out before the car is due. Airlines publish their own check-in advice, and we plan the pickup around the time you ask for. If the villa is rented through a host, forward any visitor access details the host has given you. Include the number of people and cases, since that sets the vehicle.

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, in the Jebel Ali part of the emirate. Jumeirah Islands sits on the western side of Dubai, and most residents and guests use DXB, but your ticket decides. If you are flying from DWC, add the code to your request with the flight number and times, and the team quotes that journey separately. Arrivals there are planned like any other: flight tracking, a name board and 30 minutes of free waiting time.

Pickup and drop-off tips for Jumeirah Islands

Cluster number first, then villa

Wikipedia describes 46 residential clusters on the islands, and Nakheel counts 46 islands. If your host gave a cluster number, send it with the villa number and any street name on your papers. Listings often name a villa style such as Garden Hall, Master View or Entertainment Foyer, but a style name is not an address, so always add the cluster and number.

Gate and visitor details

Nakheel calls Jumeirah Islands a gated community but does not publish gate locations or visitor rules, so we do not assume any. If visitors must be registered or a car needs a permit, your host or the community management arranges it. Ask early, send us any name, code or contact number they give you, and keep your phone on so the driver can reach you.

The Pavilion as a meeting point

A property guide describes Jumeirah Islands Pavilion as a shopping and dining centre with a clinic, salons and a Choithrams supermarket, and Nakheel lists a Community Pavilion among the amenities. If your island is hard to reach or you are leaving from a friend's house, agree the Pavilion as the meeting point in advance, name the entrance and send a pin.

Townhouses and The Mansions

The same guide places Jumeirah Island Townhouses by the Pavilion and The Mansions beside cluster 32, which makes them different pickups from the island villas. If you are in either, say so in the first line of your request along with the house number, so the driver does not head for the wrong part of the community.

Good to know

Many Nakheel names start with Jumeirah

Nakheel's project list includes Jumeirah Islands, Jumeirah Park, Jumeirah Heights, Jumeirah Village Triangle and Discovery Gardens, and Jumeirah Lakes Towers is a separate district developed by DMCC. A booking that only says Jumeirah can mean any of them. Jumeirah Park and Jumeirah Village Triangle have their own pages here, and JLT has its own too. Check the full community name on your paperwork before you send it, and if an agent's message says only Jumeirah, ask which community they mean. Then give the name, cluster and villa number together.

Jumeirah Islands is a villa community, so families with several cases are common. An SUV (Toyota Prado or GMC Yukon class, or similar) takes up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags, and a sedan (Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima class) takes up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags. A Mercedes-Benz S-Class class executive car suits a business traveller, and a van (Toyota Hiace class, 6 to 14 seats) fits relatives sharing a villa. Coaches cover 15 or more.
