Airport district and northeast

Al Twar Airport Transfers

Al Twar is a residential district in eastern Dubai with Dubai International (DXB) to its south, and we arrange private cars between Al Twar and DXB or Al Maktoum International (DWC). Send your villa or building address, flight number and the date and time in UAE time on WhatsApp or by phone, and you get a tailored quote. We follow the flight status, and arriving guests are met in the arrivals area by a driver with a name board.

Al Twar is divided into numbered sub-communities, Al Twar 1 to 5, and is described as predominantly residential, with villas, quiet streets and a number of schools. Al Nahda Road (D93) forms its northern boundary and Abu Hail Road (D91) its southern one. The Dubai Police General Headquarters is also in Al Twar. For a pickup, the sub-community number, the street and the villa number are the details that matter most.

Al Twar to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

Landing at DXB, send the terminal (Terminals 1, 2 and 3, with Emirates at Terminal 3), your flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time and the villa or building address in Al Twar with a map pin. We follow the flight status, so a late landing moves the pickup. The driver meets you in the arrivals area with a name board, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. The airport lies on the south side of Al Twar, and the boundary roads are Al Nahda Road and Abu Hail Road, so tell us which one is closer to your villa. If your family will open the gate, let them know when the car is close.

Dubai International (DXB) guide

Leaving for your flight

For a flight from DXB, send the flight time and the pickup time you want, in UAE time, with the villa number, street and a pin. Check your airline's own advice on when to be at the airport, then give us the time you decide on. Families often leave together, so list the passengers and the large bags in the request. We work 24/7, so a pickup before dawn is quoted like any other. If someone is locking up or handing over keys, allow for that when choosing your time. A return arrival can be quoted at the same time.

DWC

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, near Jebel Ali, on the other side of Dubai from Al Twar, which has DXB on its doorstep. If your ticket says DWC, send the flight number, the date and time in UAE time and your villa address, and we quote the transfer in both directions. Look at the airport code on the booking before you message us, since DXB and DWC are separate airports in different parts of the city.

Local know-how

Pickup and drop-off tips for Al Twar

Sub-community, villa number and street

Al Twar is numbered from 1 to 5, and villas on neighbouring streets can look alike. Give the sub-community if you know it, the villa number, the street name or number and the nearest main road, then send a map pin dropped at your own gate. If you are visiting family or renting, ask the host for the villa number before you write, because a description such as 'near the mosque' is hard for a driver to use.

Gates, compounds and driveways

If your villa has a gate or a guarded compound entrance, tell us whether the driver should ring, call or wait at the gate, and whether the car can pull into the driveway for loading. Give the guard's instructions and your phone number. Have your bags near the gate before the driver arrives, so the car is not left waiting on a quiet residential street.

School gates and drop-off times

There are several schools in and around Al Twar, among them Star International School. School entrances are busy at the start and end of the school day, so avoid giving a school gate as your meeting point at those times. Pick a street corner or your own villa gate instead, and send a pin. The Dubai Police General Headquarters is a useful landmark but not a pickup point.

North side or south side

Al Nahda Road (D93) runs along the northern boundary of Al Twar and Abu Hail Road (D91) along the southern one. Tell us which road your villa is nearer, because the two sides of the district are reached from different directions. That detail, together with the sub-community number, lets the driver aim for the right part of Al Twar before the final turns.

Vehicles

Which vehicle suits a Al Twar transfer?

Villa households tend to travel as families, so an SUV (Toyota Prado or GMC Yukon class, up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags) is the usual match. A couple or a solo traveller fits a sedan (Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima class, up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags). When grandparents, children and heavy luggage travel together, a van for 6 to 14 (Toyota Hiace class) is more comfortable than two cars. The luxury executive car (Mercedes-Benz S-Class class, up to 3 passengers) is there for business guests, and 15 or more need a mini bus or coach. Models are 'or similar', confirmed with your quote.

Questions

Al Twar transfer questions

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp and include your flight or pickup time.

How do I know which Al Twar number my villa is in?

Check your tenancy documents or ask your landlord. If you cannot find it, send the villa number, the street and a pin from the gate, and the team can still plan the pickup.

My villa is in a gated compound. Can the driver come in?

That depends on the compound. Tell us whether the guard will let the car in or whether you will meet at the gate, and give a phone number. We plan the pickup around what you tell us.

Can we meet at the school gate near our house?

It is better not to at the start and end of the school day, as those entrances are busy. Choose your own gate or a street corner nearby, and send a pin.

Should I name Al Nahda Road or Abu Hail Road?

Name the one your villa is nearer. Al Nahda Road is the northern boundary of Al Twar and Abu Hail Road the southern one. If you are unsure, a pin from your gate settles it.

We are a family of nine with a lot of luggage. What do we need?

A van seats 6 to 14 (Toyota Hiace class), so nine people fit in one. Tell us the number of large bags and the villa address, and the final vehicle is confirmed with your quote.
