Pickup and drop-off tips for Dubai Residence Complex

Give the building, not just Dubailand

Dubailand covers a very large area, and a listing that says only Dubailand or Dubai Residence Complex does not tell a driver where to go. Send the full building name from your tenancy contract or booking, the floor and the flat number, then a location pin from outside the entrance. If your phone's map shows two tower names for the same block, send both.

Skycourts Towers: add the tower letter

Area guides list Skycourts Towers as separate Towers A, C, D and E. Telling us 'Skycourts' alone leaves four buildings to choose from, which is how pickups end up at the wrong block. Include the letter, the entrance you will use and a phone number that will be answered, and ask your host or reception which side of the building the car can reach.

Hotel apartments and short stays

Hotel-apartment buildings such as Abidos Hotel Apartment Dubailand run a reception, so name the property in full and give the room number. Check with reception where cars stop for departures and pass that on. If you are staying in a flat rented through a host, send the host's number too, in case the driver needs help with building access.

Streets and towers still being built

Area guides note building work going on in parts of the complex, and new projects keep appearing. A map app can lag behind a new tower or a changed entrance. Share a live pin from the door you will use, and tell us if the building has more than one entrance, so the driver is not left circling a site with a fence on one side.

Check which side of Al Ain Road you are on

Dubai Silicon Oasis lies across Al Ain Road from Dubai Residence Complex, and The Villa is to the south-west, according to area guides. Map apps and booking sites sometimes label these neighbours loosely, so a pin can land in the next community. When you send the request, put the building name first, then the community, and compare the pin with the name on your tenancy or booking. The team checks any mismatch before quoting. A photo of the sign at your building entrance, sent with the request, settles most doubts.
