Arriving at DXB

Landing at DXB, send the terminal (Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are in use, with Emirates at Terminal 3), your flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time and the address with its Warsan district. Your driver waits in the arrivals area holding a name board, and the team follows your flight so a delayed landing moves the pickup. Free waiting time of 30 minutes is included. Al Awir Road (E44) forms the northern edge of Warsan and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) the western one, so those road names will help you read a map.

Leaving for your flight

Give us the pickup time you want, in UAE time, with the building or site name, the Warsan district and the entrance where you will wait. Airlines publish their own check-in advice, so choose a time that fits yours and tell us what you decided. For an apartment block, bring the bags down to the entrance before the driver is due. For a company site, name the gate and the person the driver should ask for. A return arrival can be quoted in the same message, so the whole trip stays in one thread with the team.

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South. From Al Warsan, travellers use it when the ticket says so, and the request should write DWC in plain words, with the Warsan district, building, flight number, direction and the date and time in UAE time. The team quotes DWC and DXB trips from Al Warsan in both directions. If colleagues are flying together, say how many, so a van or coach can be quoted.

Say which Warsan

Dubai splits the area into Warsan First, Second, Third and Fourth. Warsan First is International City, so a friend's 'Warsan' flat could be anywhere from an International City cluster to a block in the Fourth district. Ask your host for the number, then send it with the building name and a map pin. If the address mentions 'Phase 2', include that wording.

Apartment blocks

Warsan Fourth has a wide range of apartment buildings, and area guides note blocks now standing in all four districts. Give the building name, the floor and the unit, plus the entrance where you will wait. Send the district number even when the building name seems clear, since it tells the driver which part of Warsan to head for.

Company and industrial sites

Warsan has industrial roots, and some of it is still non-residential. If you are collected from a company site, name the company, the unit or gate and a contact who can meet the driver, and say whether the entrance is staffed. A business visitor should add the host's name and the time the meeting ends, so the pickup can be planned around it.

Warsan Village

Warsan Village is a Nakheel community of its own, described by area guides as townhouses, and it is not the same as the International City clusters nearby. Give the street, the house number and a pin dropped on the house. Mention it is Warsan Village, so the driver does not head to an apartment cluster that shares the district name.

Which vehicle suits a Al Warsan transfer?

Al Warsan mixes apartment blocks, townhouses and business sites, so groups vary. A sedan (Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima class, up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags) suits one or two travellers, and an SUV (Toyota Prado or GMC Yukon class, up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags) suits a family. Colleagues leaving from one site, or friends sharing a block, fit a van (Toyota Hiace class, 6 to 14 seats), while a mini bus or coach covers 15 or more. Visiting business guests can ask for the luxury executive car (Mercedes-Benz S-Class class, up to 3 passengers). Models are 'or similar', confirmed with your quote.

Is Al Warsan the same as International City?

Not exactly. International City occupies Warsan First, one of four numbered districts. If your address says Warsan 2, 3 or 4, tell us so the driver heads to the right part.

My contract says Warsan Fourth but friends call it International City Phase 2. Which do I give?

Either works if you add the building name and a pin. Send the wording written on your tenancy contract, and the team will match it to the right block.
