Arriving at DXB

For a DXB arrival heading to DAMAC Hills 2, send the terminal (DXB has Terminals 1, 2 and 3, and Emirates uses Terminal 3), the flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time, and your cluster or town with the house number. The driver waits in the arrivals area with a name board, and the team follows the flight's status so a delay moves the pickup. 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, and your airline decides whether you fly from there or from DXB. Check the three-letter code on your ticket. Pickup and drop-off tips for DAMAC Hills 2

Cluster or town first, then the house number

A community of this size is divided into clusters and themed towns, and each has its own street layout. Give the cluster or town name, then your house or unit number and the street, exactly as it appears on your contract or handover letter. If you are in a newly launched cluster such as Camelia, say so, since newer clusters can lag behind on map apps.

Akoya and Akoya Oxygen are not the same place

Older paperwork and listings still use the developer's earlier names. Akoya Oxygen is the former name of DAMAC Hills 2, while The Akoya was the first name of the separate DAMAC Hills. If your agreement says only Akoya, ask your agent which community you are in before you send the request. The wrong one means a driver sent to the wrong roads.

Share a pin from your door

With about 4 million square metres to cover, a street name alone is not enough for a driver arriving for the first time. Drop a pin outside your front door, send it in WhatsApp and add the house number. For a townhouse in a row, add a note such as 'corner unit' or 'second from the road' so the driver can pick the right one.

Early flights and limited public transport

Area guides say public transport is limited in DAMAC Hills 2, with a bus route running through the clusters, so most residents travel by car or taxi. For a flight at dawn, book the transfer in advance and give the pickup time in UAE time. Send a phone number that will be answered at that hour, because the driver may need to call you from the cluster.

DAMAC Hills and DAMAC Hills 2 are two communities

Both are DAMAC developments in Dubailand, and the names are easy to mix up. DAMAC Hills, first called The Akoya, is the golf community built around Trump International Golf Club Dubai. DAMAC Hills 2 was launched in 2014 as Akoya Oxygen and has its own towns and clusters. The two have different cluster names, such as Golf Vista and Veneto in DAMAC Hills and Camelia in DAMAC Hills 2, so a cluster name usually settles which one you mean. Start your request with the full community name and your cluster, and we check the pin against it.
