Liwan is a Dubailand development at the junction of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) and Dubai-Al Ain Road (E66). It is mainly apartments, from studios to four-bedroom units, with some villas, and Queue Point, a mid-rise apartment complex, is the sub-community area guides call the most popular. Dubai Silicon Oasis, Academic City, International City and Nad Al Sheba all neighbour it, so the building name and a map pin keep the driver in the right community.

Liwan to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

Arriving at DXB, send the terminal (Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are all in use, with Emirates at Terminal 3), the flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time and your building and unit in Liwan. The driver waits in the arrivals area with a name board, and flight tracking means a delayed landing moves the pickup. 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. Liwan lies where Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) meets Dubai-Al Ain Road (E66), so those two road names are worth checking on your map before the trip.

Leaving for your flight

For a flight out of Liwan, tell us the pickup time you want in UAE time, your building and unit or villa number, and the entrance where you will wait. Your airline publishes its own check-in advice, so pick a pickup time that fits and pass it on. List the passengers and bags in the same message. If a tenancy ends the same day, mention when you hand over the keys, so the pickup follows that schedule. Keep your phone on while the car is on its way, and send a return arrival in the same message if you want both legs quoted together.

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Liwan is in Dubailand, while Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, so the two sit in different parts of the city. If your ticket shows DWC, write DWC in the request, with the flight number, the direction, the date and time in UAE time and your building. The team quotes DWC transfers from Liwan in both directions, just as it does for DXB.

Complex, building and unit

In a complex such as Queue Point, one name covers many apartments. Send the complex name, the building or block if it has one, the floor and the unit, then a pin from the entrance where you will wait. This matters most for a first-time guest, who cannot tell the driver which door to approach.

Liwan or its neighbours?

Liwan sits among Dubai Silicon Oasis, Academic City, International City and Nad Al Sheba, and a request that only says 'near DSO' can send a driver to the wrong community. Tell us the area written on your tenancy contract and share a live pin. If a delivery app or map places you in a neighbouring district, mention it, so the team can confirm the pickup point.

Villa addresses

Liwan also has three- and four-bedroom villas. For a villa, give the street name, the villa number and a pin dropped on the house, and tell us if the driver should stop on the road or come to the front. A phone number that will be answered helps if the street is hard to read at night.

A named landmark

When you cannot describe the building, a named landmark helps. Area guides list Al Wasl Mosque in Liwan. If you use it as a reference, tell us the side of the road where you will wait and send a pin from that spot, so the driver knows exactly where to stop.
