Arriving at DXB

Oud Metha is on the Bur Dubai side of Dubai Creek and DXB is across the water, so the car crosses the Creek. Send the terminal (DXB has Terminals 1, 2 and 3; Emirates uses Terminal 3), your flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time, and the full address, with the building, apartment or villa number and a map pin. Flight status is tracked, so a delayed landing moves the pickup. Your driver waits in arrivals holding a name board, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. If someone at home will meet the car, put their number on the quote.

Leaving for your flight

For a flight from DXB, send the flight time and the pickup time you want in UAE time, with the building, the apartment or villa number and a pin. Check your airline's own advice on when to reach the airport before choosing the time. If your building has several entrances, say which one faces the road the car should use, and mention anyone who needs extra time to reach the car. For an early flight, settle the details the evening before, with a UAE phone number on the quote. The return arrival can be quoted together with the outward trip.

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, a long cross-city trip from Oud Metha, so ask early if your flight leaves from there. Several schools stand in Oud Metha, among them The Indian High School, GEMS Winchester School and St. Mary's Catholic High School. Clubs and community events

The district has community clubs such as the India Club and the Iranian Club. Lamcy Plaza

Lamcy Plaza has three floors, so saying only the mall name leaves the driver guessing. Give the entrance and the floor you will leave from, add a map pin, and say if you are carrying shopping bags in addition to your luggage. If you are staying nearby, the building name and street are still the better meeting point.

American Hospital Dubai stands in the district and Rashid Hospital is on Oud Metha Road. Healthcare City in the name, Oud Metha in the address

Rove Healthcare City gives its address as 19th Street, Oud Metha, directly across the street from Dubai American Hospital, even though its name points to Dubai Healthcare City next door. Hotels around Wafi and the Healthcare City metro station sit in Umm Hurair, so a name with Healthcare City in it can be on either side of the boundary. When you ask for a quote, give the street and a map pin as well as the hotel name, and the team will plan from the right place.
