Al Khawaneej Airport Transfers

From Al Khawaneej we arrange private cars to Dubai International (DXB) or Al Maktoum International (DWC) and back. Send your villa or farm location, flight number and the date and time in UAE time on WhatsApp or by phone, and the team replies with a tailored quote. Flights are followed, and for arrivals the driver waits in the arrivals area holding a name board.

Al Khawaneej lies in north-eastern Dubai behind Mirdif, Al Warqa and International City, with Al Aweer next to it and the Sharjah border running alongside. The area is divided into Al Khawaneej First and Second and is known for villas, farms, stables and greenhouses, with Quranic Park and Al Khawaneej Walk among its landmarks. Plots are large and some properties sit well back from the road, so a gate description and a map pin are the details that count.

Al Khawaneej to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

Al Khawaneej is on the north-eastern edge of the city, so give the address in full. Send the terminal (Terminals 1, 2 and 3, with Emirates at Terminal 3), your flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time, and the villa or farm location with a map pin. We follow the flight status, so a late landing moves the pickup. The driver meets you in the arrivals area with a name board, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. Al Khawaneej Road and Emirates Road are the main roads named for the area.

Dubai International (DXB) guide

Leaving for your flight

Tell us your flight time and when you want the car, in UAE time, with the villa number or farm name and a pin from the gate. Check your airline's own advice on when to reach the airport, then give us the pickup time you decided on. Because properties here are spread out, say whether the driver should come up to the house, wait at the gate or meet you on the road, and who will open the gate. If several relatives are leaving together, mention the number of people and bags so the vehicle is the right size. A return arrival can be quoted at the same time.

DWC

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, near Jebel Ali, at the opposite end of the emirate from Al Khawaneej. For most flights you will use Dubai International (DXB), so name DWC only if your ticket says so. We quote DWC transfers in both directions: send the flight number, the date and time in UAE time and the villa or farm location, and the team replies with a tailored quote. Send the details early for a DWC trip.

Local know-how

Pickup and drop-off tips for Al Khawaneej

Farms, stables and long tracks

Farm and stable plots can sit well back from the road. Give the farm name or the owner's name, the gate you want the car at, and a map pin taken at that gate rather than at the house. Tell us who has the key if the gate is locked, so the driver is not left outside a closed entrance.

Villa gates and garages

Villas here usually have private garages. Say whether the car should come to your gate or wait on the road, and give a phone number for someone who can open it. For an early flight, ask the person with the gate remote or key to be ready before the car arrives, and have the bags by the door.

First or Second

The area is divided into Al Khawaneej First and Al Khawaneej Second. If you know which one you are in, say so, and add the plot or villa number and the nearest landmark, such as Quranic Park or Al Khawaneej Walk. With properties spread out, the number alone is rarely enough to place a pickup.

Parks and the Walk as meeting points

If you are visiting and do not know the plot number, Quranic Park or Al Khawaneej Walk can serve as a meeting point. Name the entrance, send a pin from it and keep your phone on. It also helps when a farm gate is hard to find in the dark.

Good to know

Mushrif Park and its gates

Al Khawaneej lies to the east of Mushrif Park, which has several gates. Gulf News mentions gate seven on Al Khawaneej Road, but gate arrangements can change, so read the name from the signs at the park. If you are being collected from Mushrif Park or Quranic Park, name the gate or entrance you will wait at and send a map pin from it. The parks suit family days out, and a barbecue or picnic party with many people and bags should say so in the request, so the vehicle is big enough for the whole group and its gear.

Vehicles

Which vehicle suits a Al Khawaneej transfer?

A couple travelling light fits a sedan (Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima class, up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags). A family arriving with luggage for a stay in a large villa or on a farm suits an SUV (Toyota Prado or GMC Yukon class, up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags), which leaves room for strollers and gifts. Gatherings of 6 to 14 can use a van (Toyota Hiace class), and 15 or more need a mini bus or coach. The luxury executive car (Mercedes-Benz S-Class class, up to 3 passengers) is available for business guests. Models are 'or similar', confirmed with your quote.

Questions

Al Khawaneej transfer questions

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp and include your flight or pickup time.

My farm has no street address. What should I send?

Send the farm name or the owner's name, the nearest landmark and a map pin taken at the gate. Add a phone number that will be answered, because the driver may need directions along the last stretch.

Can you collect me from Quranic Park or Mushrif Park?

Yes. Tell us the entrance or gate you will wait at and send a pin from it. Mushrif Park has several gates, so the exact one matters.

Is Al Khawaneej the same as Al Aweer or Al Warqa?

No. Al Khawaneej lies behind Mirdif and Al Warqa, with Al Aweer next to it, and each has its own addresses. Write the district shown on your address and send a pin so the pickup is placed correctly.

Are buses a realistic way to reach the airport from here?

Buses run along Al Khawaneej Road, but properties here are spread out. A private car that collects at your gate is simpler with luggage or a family, and it removes the walk to a bus stop.
