Al Wasl to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

Heading from DXB to Al Wasl? Include the terminal, flight number, landing date and time in UAE time, and the full address: street, villa or apartment number and a nearby landmark such as Safa Park. Your driver is in the arrivals area holding a name board, we follow your flight so the pickup moves with the real arrival, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. Al Wasl lies off Sheikh Zayed Road between its first and second interchanges, and Al Wasl Road passes Safa Park, so the driver picks the approach that suits traffic on the day, and your address tells them which side to come from. A pin helps if the street is new or hard to find on a map.

Leaving for your flight

Leaving Al Wasl for a flight? Tell us the airport and terminal, your flight time, the pickup time you want in UAE time and the full address. At a villa, put bags by the gate before the car is due. At an apartment, say which lobby or car park the driver should go to. Airlines publish their own check-in advice, so choose the time that suits yours and the team confirms it with your quote. If you are leaving from Safa Park, name the road you will walk out to and send a pin as you move.

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Wasl is a central residential area, and most people who live in or visit it use DXB. DWC, formally Al Maktoum International, is in Jebel Ali as the main part of Dubai South and is served by fewer airlines. Check the airport code on your ticket. If it reads DWC, add that to the request and the team quotes the trip separately, then plans the pickup the same way as any DXB job.

Street, villa number and one landmark

Give the street name or number exactly as it appears on your booking, the villa number and one landmark such as Safa Park. Add the words Al Wasl so the street is matched to the right community, and send a WhatsApp pin from your gate. Tell us if a bell, a guard or a phone call opens the gate, so the driver is not left waiting outside a closed door.

Check which area your listing means

Listings for the stretch between Sheikh Zayed Road and the coast sometimes say Jumeirah, Al Safa or Al Satwa for an address that sits in Al Wasl. Wikipedia places Jumeirah to the north, Al Safa to the west, Al Satwa to the east and Business Bay to the south. If your host's wording and your map pin disagree, send both, with the full street and number, and we check before quoting.

Leaving from Safa Park

Safa Park has four entrances, reached from the roads around it. After a walk, a run or a picnic, tell us which road you will walk out to and name a fixed landmark near that entrance, instead of 'the park'. Send a location pin when you reach the gate. A car cannot guess which of four exits you chose, and the wait is shorter when it knows.

City Walk addresses

City Walk is an urban precinct inside the Al Wasl community, and its own address is the junction of Al Wasl Road and Al Safa Road. If your hotel, apartment or appointment is at City Walk, give the building or venue name rather than only Al Wasl. Safa Park and the Dubai Water Canal

Safa Park is bordered by Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Wasl Road, Al Hadiqa Street and 55th Street. The Dubai Water Canal runs through it on its way from Business Bay to the Gulf, with road bridges for Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Wasl Road and Jumeirah Road, and pedestrian bridges including the Bridge of Tolerance. If you are meeting a car after time in the park or on the canal path, tell us which road you will leave to and which side of the canal you are on, then share a pin. Without that detail a driver can reach the right road and still be on the wrong side.

No, they are neighbouring areas. Wikipedia places Jumeirah to the north of Al Wasl and Al Safa to the west. Listings often use the wider name, so send the street and villa number, not just the area.
