Dubai Maritime City Airport Transfers

We arrange private airport transfers between Dubai Maritime City and Dubai International (DXB) or Al Maktoum International (DWC). Send the company or vessel you are visiting, the airport and terminal, your flight number and the date and time in UAE time, and the team replies with a quote on WhatsApp or by phone. The service runs 24/7 and follows your flight.

Dubai Maritime City is a maritime cluster between Port Rashid and Drydocks World, and its own site says it is part of DP World. It leases ship repair plots, workshops, warehouses, offices, showrooms and shops, and runs ship lifts and wet and dry berthing. That makes it a place of yards, units and company names rather than homes and hotels. For a pickup, the company, the building or the vessel matters far more than the area name.

Dubai Maritime City to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

For a Dubai Maritime City address, send the DXB terminal (Terminals 1, 2 or 3; Emirates uses Terminal 3), your flight number, the landing date and time in UAE time, the number of passengers and bags, and the company, building or vessel you are going to. The driver meets you in the arrivals area holding a name board, the team follows the flight's status, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. The cluster's site says a causeway links it to the wider road network, so the driver can choose the route that suits traffic on the day. You receive a quote first, and the team then confirms the arrangements.

Leaving for your flight

From Dubai Maritime City to the airport, give the company or vessel, the entrance where you will wait, your flight time and terminal, and the pickup time you want in UAE time. Choose it from your airline's own check-in advice, since we plan around the time you ask for. If you are leaving a yard or a vessel, ask your host to have your bags brought to the entrance beforehand, and tell us who to call when the car arrives. A return trip can be quoted in the same message as the arrival.

DWC

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, towards Jebel Ali, at the other end of the emirate from the Port Rashid side of the city where Dubai Maritime City sits. Some airlines operate from DWC, so check the airport code on your ticket. If it reads DWC, tell us in your first message with the flight number and time in UAE time, and the team quotes that trip separately. A visitor who arrives at one airport and leaves from the other can ask for both in one request.

Local know-how

Pickup and drop-off tips for Dubai Maritime City

Name the company and the unit

Dubai Maritime City leases yards, workshops, warehouses, offices, showrooms and shops, so one cluster holds a great many separate businesses. Give the company name, the building or unit and the person who expects you. The words Maritime City alone are too broad for a driver, and a pin dropped at the company's own entrance removes the guesswork.

Ask about the entrance and visitor registration

The cluster's own site says its facilities have a high degree of security and procedures in place, without describing them. Ask your host which entrance a visitor uses and whether your name or company must be registered in advance, then pass the answer to us. A driver who knows what the entrance expects spends less time held at the barrier.

Visiting a vessel, a berth or a ship lift

If you are going to a vessel, give its name, the yard or berth and the contact on board or at the agent's office. Your host can confirm where a car may stop. Crew and site teams often travel with large kit bags and tool cases, so count every item in your request and say how many people are travelling.

Do not mix it up with the cruise terminal

Dubai Maritime City sits between Port Rashid and Drydocks World, but it is an industrial and commercial cluster, not a cruise terminal. Cruise passengers heading for the Hamdan bin Mohammed Cruise Terminal at Mina Rashid should give the ship name and terminal from their cruise documents, and our cruise port transfers page covers both terminals. A pickup sent to the wrong gate starts late.

Good to know

A working cluster, not a neighbourhood

Dubai Maritime City describes itself as a multi-purpose maritime centre with industrial and commercial facilities, including ship lifts, wet and dry berthing, workshops and warehouses. Its contact page gives its address as Maritime Business Centre 2, and its news page reports a Maritime Business Centre inaugurated in June 2026, so tell us which building your meeting is in. Because it is an operating yard area, ask your host where a car may stop and which gate to use, and send that point with your request. People sometimes shorten both Dubai Maritime City and Dubai Media City to DMC, so write the full name in your message.

Vehicles

Which vehicle suits a Dubai Maritime City transfer?

Visiting executives and surveyors usually take a sedan (Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima class, up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags) or the Mercedes-Benz S-Class class executive car, which seats up to 3. A crew or site team with kit bags needs more room: an SUV (Toyota Prado or GMC Yukon class, up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags) or a Toyota Hiace class van with 6 to 14 seats. A larger group joining a vessel can ask about a mini bus or coach for 15 or more. List every bag, since luggage decides the vehicle. Models are shown as or similar, and the final vehicle is confirmed with your quote.

Questions

Dubai Maritime City transfer questions

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp and include your flight or pickup time.

Is Dubai Maritime City the same as the Port Rashid cruise terminal?

No. Dubai Maritime City is a maritime industrial and commercial cluster between Port Rashid and Drydocks World. The Hamdan bin Mohammed Cruise Terminal is at Mina Rashid, so check your cruise documents for the terminal your ship uses.

What should I send if I am visiting a shipyard or a vessel?

Send the company name, the yard or berth, the vessel name if there is one, and the contact who expects you. Add the number of people and every bag, plus any entrance details your host gave you.

Do I need a pass to get into Dubai Maritime City?

We cannot say what a company requires. The cluster says it has security procedures in place, so ask your host whether visitors are registered in advance. Send us any name or reference the gate asks for.

Can you collect a group going to the same office?

Yes. Tell us the office, the building and the group size. A van seats 6 to 14, and parties of 15 or more can ask about a mini bus or coach. The quote follows once we have the airport and flight details.
