Door to door between emirates

Intercity transfers from Dubai

An intercity transfer is a private car that takes you from one emirate to another, address to address. Most requests start in Dubai and end in Sharjah, Ajman, Abu Dhabi or Ras Al Khaimah, and we run the same trips in the other direction. Send the pickup address, the destination, the date and time in UAE time, and the number of passengers and bags. We reply with a quote on WhatsApp or by phone.

Many intercity trips are tied to a flight, but plenty are not. You may be moving between hotels in two emirates, heading to a meeting in Abu Dhabi, or collecting relatives in Sharjah for dinner in Dubai. If an airport is involved, say so in the request. A pickup at Dubai International for a hotel in Ras Al Khaimah is planned around the flight like any other airport transfer.

Which emirates can I travel between?

The UAE has seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Our most frequent requests link Dubai with the four below, and each has its own route page with the places travellers ask about most. For Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah or any other destination, send the address and the quote will say what can be arranged.

  • Dubai to Sharjah
  • Dubai to Abu Dhabi
  • Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah
  • Dubai to Ajman

Can I go straight from the airport to another emirate?

Yes. A common request is landing at Dubai International (DXB) and travelling on to a hotel in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or Ras Al Khaimah. The driver meets you in the arrivals area with a name board, we follow the flight's status, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included, as on any airport pickup. Flying into Zayed International (AUH), Sharjah International (SHJ) or Ras Al Khaimah International (RKT) instead? We can plan from there.

Names matter here. Zayed International is the airport; Abu Dhabi is also a city and an emirate. Tell us which you mean, and add the hotel or district at the far end, such as Yas Island or Saadiyat Island, so the pickup and drop-off are unambiguous.

How do I arrange the return trip?

Send the return as its own request with the date, time and pickup address. It does not have to be the same day. Guests who stay several nights in Abu Dhabi or Ras Al Khaimah often arrange the way back separately, once their plans are fixed.

If you need the car to wait at the destination, say so. A wait is a different request from a return, and the quote will cover whichever one you describe. If you want the driver with you for the whole day and moving between places, ask about the hourly and executive chauffeur service.

Which vehicle suits an intercity trip?

A sedan takes up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags. An SUV suits up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags. A luxury executive car (Mercedes-Benz S-Class class or similar) suits a business traveller who wants a quiet cabin. Larger parties travel in a van with 6 to 14 seats, or in a mini bus or coach for 15 or more.

Models are listed as 'or similar' and the final vehicle is confirmed with your quote.

What should I include in the request?

A complete request gets a quote without back-and-forth. These are the details that matter most for a trip between emirates:

  • Pickup address, including the hotel, tower or villa name
  • Destination address, and the district if the city is large
  • Date and time in UAE time
  • Number of passengers and large bags
  • Flight number and terminal, if the trip starts at an airport
  • One way or return, and any stop on the way

Questions

Frequently asked

Do you take passengers from other emirates into Dubai?

Yes. The trip is quoted from the pickup address you give us, so a hotel in Sharjah or a villa in Ras Al Khaimah is treated the same way as one in Dubai.

Is Zayed International Airport the same as Abu Dhabi city?

No. Zayed International (AUH) is the airport. Abu Dhabi is the city and the emirate, and many addresses there are separate from the airport. Tell us which one you need in the request.

Can I add a stop on the way?

Yes, list each stop with its address and the order you want. Requests with several stops are quoted as multi-stop journeys.

Do you run intercity trips at night?

Yes, we operate 24/7. Give the date and time in UAE time, particularly for trips that start after midnight, so the quote shows the right day.

What happens if my plans change?

Cancellation is free when you cancel at least 48 hours before pickup. If a flight is delayed, we follow its status and plan the pickup around the actual arrival.
