District One Airport Transfers

Private airport transfers for District One run to Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum International (DWC), for residents, guests and visiting buyers. Send the flight number, the date and time in UAE time and the villa, mansion or residence you are heading to or leaving from, and the team replies with a quote on WhatsApp or by phone. Sedans, SUVs, executive cars, vans and coaches are all available.

District One is a low-density residential estate in Mohammed Bin Rashid City, built around the Crystal Lagoon. Nakheel describes villas, mansions, waterfront residences and plots for custom-built homes, and lists District One West, Lagoon Views and Naya Residences among its projects. Some of those are still under construction, so the house number, the street and a fresh map pin matter more than the community name when a car is looking for your door.

District One to and from the airport

Arriving at DXB

For an arrival at DXB (Terminals 1, 2 and 3; Emirates uses Terminal 3), send the terminal, the flight number, your landing date and time in UAE time, and the District One project, street and house number. A driver meets you in the arrivals area with your name on a board. The team follows the flight's status, so a late landing moves the pickup, and 30 minutes of free waiting time is included. Nakheel places District One close to Business Bay, Meydan and Downtown Dubai, so a precise street matters more here than a main road name.

Dubai International (DXB) guide

Leaving for your flight

To leave District One for a flight, give the airport, the time you want to be collected in UAE time, and the exact door the car should come to. Keep bags inside the gate or at the front door, and make sure someone can open any access barrier. Mention extra luggage such as golf bags or boxes so the quote matches the vehicle. Airlines publish their own check-in advice, so we plan the pickup around the time you choose. Return trips can go in the same request. If the villa has staff or a security desk, tell them the pickup time as well.

DWC

Flying from Al Maktoum International (DWC)

Al Maktoum International (DWC) is in Dubai South, on the south-western side of Dubai, while District One sits in Mohammed Bin Rashid City nearer the centre. DXB is the usual airport for most residents here, and DWC matters when your airline flies from there. Check the three-letter code on your ticket and tell us which airport applies to each leg. A DWC arrival gets the same name board, flight tracking and 30 minutes of free waiting time.

Pickup and drop-off tips for District One

House number, street and project

A villa or mansion address needs three things: the project or phase, the street and the house number. District One has several Nakheel projects with similar waterfront wording, so "near the lagoon" does not narrow it down. Write the project first, then the street and number, and add a pin dropped while you stand at the front door.

Ask for a current pin

Parts of the estate are still being built, and Nakheel lists District One West and Naya Residences as under construction. A pin saved a while ago, or a point copied from a sales brochure, may sit on a plot rather than a finished street. If you are staying with a host or owner, ask them to send a pin from this week.

Lagoon side or street side

Homes on the water often have a lagoon-facing side and a street-facing side, and the car can only use the street. Tell us which door you will carry bags to and who will be there. If you are in an apartment-style residence such as Lagoon Views, add the building name and the entrance you plan to use.

Visiting a private home

If you are a guest, your host knows how visitors are let in. Ask whether the driver should give a name at a gate or a security desk and pass that wording to us with the host's phone number. We brief the driver before the pickup, so nobody is left explaining themselves at the entrance.

Good to know

Plots, mansions and unfinished streets

Nakheel describes District One as villas, mansions, waterfront residences and bespoke plots for custom-built homes. That mix means a pickup address can be a finished home, a house being fitted out or a plot with a site office. If your address is a plot or a home still under construction, tell us, and give the name of someone on site who can direct the driver by phone. It also helps to say which side of the plot has the usable road.

Vehicles

Which vehicle suits a District One transfer?

Families and couples with several suitcases usually take an SUV (Toyota Prado or GMC Yukon class, up to 5 passengers with 4 large bags). Owners and senior visitors often choose a luxury executive car (Mercedes-Benz S-Class class, up to 3 passengers), and a sedan (Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima class, up to 3 passengers with 2 large bags) suits a light-travelling guest. Extended families fit a van (Toyota Hiace class, 6 to 14 seats), and a mini bus or coach covers groups of 15 or more. Models are "or similar", with the final vehicle confirmed in your quote.

Questions

District One transfer questions

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp and include your flight or pickup time.

Is District One the same as Meydan?

No. Nakheel lists District One and Meydan as separate places, and it names the Meydan Grandstand and Racecourse and The Meydan Hotel as nearby places for District One. Put District One, the project and the street in your request.

My villa is on the Crystal Lagoon. Will the car reach the front door?

The car uses the street side, which may not be the side with the lagoon view. Send a pin from your front door and say which entrance you will use, and the team confirms the meeting spot before the pickup.

Can you collect from Lagoon Views or Naya Residences?

Yes. Name the project, the building or house and the entrance, and add a pin. Nakheel lists Naya Residences as under construction, so check with your developer contact that your address is open for access.

We are a family of nine arriving together with luggage. What should we send?

Send the headcount, the number of large bags and the flight details. A van (Toyota Hiace class, 6 to 14 seats) usually suits a group this size, and the team confirms the vehicle with the quote.

I am visiting a friend's villa. What does the driver need?

The house number, the street, your host's phone number and any gate or security instructions. Ask your host how visitors are announced, and pass that on with your flight details.
